My advice would be never to use this company. They are the most unsympathetic cold-hearted people. After using their service for many years I explained to them on more than one occasion that the company I work for has been facing financial difficulties and asked for their help to cut costs. They wouldn't reduce down the number of site visits or let us give one box back and said that we had to see the contract through. We not surprisingly fell behind on payments and after I explained again they decided to go straight to adding court fees, daily intersest and a threat to pay within seven days or we will be going to court. It's nice that they have the luxury to sleep well at night and feel safe in their jobs. I on the otherhand am not so fortunate. Taking legal action and offering no help is only stressing out everyone I work with even more when we are already facing a brick wall. We really did hope we could find some sort of solution with a payment plan but Shred-it is only interested in taking the company down. I would advise people never to use them because you never know what situation you could be facing in the future and this company doesn't have a heart or give a damn.

Be careful when signing any contracts…

Be careful when signing any contracts with this company. Please read all the fineprint as they have a 3 year auto renewal clause. Without any notice they will renew for 3 years and they will ask you to pay a lot of fine to leave the contract. Not the best business to do business with. So far in business I have never seen companies which will auto renew without notice for 3 years. Extremely unfair practice.

Rang ahead of a prior collection

Rang ahead of a prior collection that was due, regarding the amount of collections bags we had & needing more. Explained the situation to Louise Preston & she was extremely helpful. She checked with other departments & emailed me with confirmation of the outcome. As previously stated, Louise was very helpful & very well mannered over the phone.
