Full marks! Communication was excellent from start to finish, the dates for survey and installation were honoured, the quality of the product is high, and the snagging/remedial work was done promptly and without question. The installation team was quietly efficient and every scrap of rubbish was cleared. We have used Sidey on several occasions n recent years and have found them to be consistently good on all fronts. Would highly recommend the company.
Well stocked showroom, knowledgeable staff, experienced and very competent installers. Any changes or queries were dealt with efficiently. Notified immediately at installation that drip bar was dented and appointment was made to have replaced.
2 wonderful fitters Chris and Michael. Lovely lads and did fantastic job and clearing up afterwards too. They also did one room separately to begin with so my nervous cats could be put in there. Highly recommend these lovely lads
I had 2 houses fitted with windows and doors from Sidey. When I encountered an issue with the lacquer coming off the front door, I decided to file a warranty claim. I sent in photos as requested, but never received the promised callbacks. I knew resolving this would not be easy. Sure enough, I received an email response tonight stating that while Sidey would re-lacquer the door under warranty, the paint finish was unlikely to be fully restored since the lacquer deterioration had gone on too long before being reported 14 days. When I purchased the windows and doors, you had represented Sidey as the manufacturer, but I now understand they are not. I was going to have Sidey install windows and doors at another property, but will no longer do so after this experience.Reported on the 8th April 2024 you work it out? I Like all the positive reviews wait till you have to make a warranty claim then the fun begins.You are not dealing with an unintelligent person. I will continue pursuing a resolution to this problem.Honestly, the response I received from Sidey was not what I expected. I believed they were the top glazing company to go with, but when I checked Companies House and found they were under new management, I never expected to encounter this issue. When I reported the problem within 14 days, I was assured it would be fixed, but when I actually saw the damage and reported it, you wouldn't honor the warranty. After seeking legal advice regarding the warranty, I learned that the seller must accept the claim, and there's little you can do if they refuse. So, buyers beware: don't let them sell you doors with a supposed 10-year warranty; it's not worth the paper it's written on. I was on the verge of purchasing new windows and doors from Sidey again, but I'm relieved I discovered what I'm dealing with. As a property investor, I've managed to dissuade a friend of mine with six new builds from going to these guys, and I feel much better about it.Update they never fixed the door warranty is not worth the paper its written on beware. Update no one contacted me from sidey.
