Review Time
While the new window and doors are lovely I was advised in my letter getting the new windows that my blinds should still fit after installation but none of my blinds now fit any of the windows! I did speak to someone with regards to this and was advised I would receive a tele call with-in a couple of days to assess this, when I did not receive a call I called Sidey office and was told the site manager on holiday, so you only have one site manager for the whole of Scotland? Now that will be 12 days with-out an assessment and I am extremely upset of this as everybody can see right into my house and I live on my own so not happy!! Crime levels of house-breaking is on the increase dramatically within my area and as I have no blinds in my house it looks vacant and I am worried this will entice these criminals to try and enter my home!!
The fitters were excellent. The were both hard working, conscientious and paid attention to detail.They were courteous , knowledgeable and friendly.The only negative was that a crack has appeared from the top left hand corner of the door running diagonally towards the ceiling.
I commissioned Sidey Solutions to fit a front door previously and as their service and product was excellent, I also had them fit a patio door. The whole process was easy, the patio doors of excellent quality and the technicians arrived at the booked time promptly, were friendly and very tidy. I couldn’t fault them. I would buy from them again.
From the sales team, surveyor to the installation team very friendly, co-operative, efficient and happy on a whole with the end result. Only thing I'd say is be careful where in the glass they place the kite marks (I fully understand why they are needed), but the external kite mark is white and catches your eye, people have commented to me on it, and for me this really spoils the frosted glass centred on my chartwell green door and its overall appearance. However on the full lengthed glass side panels they were different kite marks and less visible? I noticed one of the panels was upside down and they returned to turn it around efficiently, without any problem with no damage to the framework.
