Fantastic company,workmen good and friendly guys,job completed ahead of time,clean up after all work,inspector checking work constantly and aftercare great,honestly can't fault workmen start to finish,inspectors or the quality of work,highly recommend.
They don't show up. My mum was due to have full house fitted today. Appointment booked by Sidey after being pushed back a couple of times (which was fine as advance notice given). Mum took down blinds yesterday and moved furniture only for them not to turn up at 8am. Called office and after over an hour was told they all have COVID. No communication from them my mum had to do all the chasing. Really poor. She didn't take a shift today to accommodate Sidey so has missed earnings now.
Moved into a new build that used Sidey for external doors and windows. 6 months on and multiple visits from their workmen and we are still experiencing the same issues: draughty doors and windows, poorly installed and scratched.The workmen they sent have no clue what they are doing. The bifold in our bedroom has been draughty since we moved in and has been attempted to be fixed at least 4 times now with no improvements. The wind is literally howling through the holes in the seals. Every window had at least one faulty installed trickle vent, a hinge needed replaced, front and back door had issues. It is a very tiring process to try and get this company to rectify any of the issues arising from their faulty installation. I don’t think we will ever have a draught free house.
Excellent from start to finish. Trade department were a joy to deal with. Lisa was highly knowledgeable. Fitters couldn’t have done a better job. Windows look amazing and are much more energy efficient than our old ones. The ten year guarantee gives great piece of mind. I would highly recommend.
Great job, new front door fitted yesterday by Dean and Matthew. Very tidy work, cleaned up after themselves. The door looks fantastic, just a minor issue with some ceiling plaster.Cannnot fault the quality, I would definitely recommend.Contract number:121420
Got windows and doors done today by sidey. Come back at 3 and their gone and left a total shambles. Nearly every window area inside and outside had damage. Damage inside included massive holes in walls. Called the customer line and girl tells me they will be out in 2 weeks to plaster... Plaster wallpaper that's been ripped. Liaison guy who said hel come and check our house after chapping other doors in street didn't turn up. Probably knew issues the installation team left. Absolute cowboys
We are renewing our windows as and when we can afford them. So far we have purchased seven windows. Each window has had slight damage to them which I ignored, due to the inconvenience this would impose. I have just received two windows at a cost of nearly £1600 there were three aspects to the windows that I was unhappy with. Yet again there was damage, one with a gouge out of the grey side. One damage to white side and a window packer jammed in the seal. Driver did suggest pen or return. I refused return as it took nearly two months to get these. I later emailed with photos. Reply came back stating driver said pen would do the job, or I could return. The issue I have is not the product, it is that the appreciation of customer expectation is not really understood. I feel my custom is undervalued and a strong take it or leave it attitude by the company. This is not the workers responsibility it is senior management. Ignore at your peril.
I have recently had Sidey replace an existing lean-to/conservatory at my property.Initially there was constant lack of communication from management which kept me in the dark for long periods...not returning calls etc...eventually when work started there was the wrong shade of glass on one of the panels....replaced 4 times..ALL WRONG!!!...Eventually had the 4 panels replaced....over the course of this year I have not been able to carry out internal works due to them needing to erect scaffolding...which has a knock on effect with my completion certificate...I asked for compensation...forget it!!!!.....joiners carrying out the work are good but customer awareness by management very poor...I have scored them two only because of men who carried out the work...not because of management and after service care...think a customer orientation course is required. If I had my time again I would NOT use them &Certainly would NOT RECOMMEND them ....in fact everyone i tell is appalled and horrified that this type of thing us allowed to go on
