Review Time
I’m not in the habit of writing reviews, but this week’s phone experience really impressed me. I wanted to take a moment to say thank you to Shannon for helping me with my appointment with the Bristol clinic. I was feeling confused about where to go and got stressed, but Shannon stayed on the phone with me the whole time and calmly talked me through the directions and what to expect.
Her patience, kindness, and professionalism completely put me at ease, and I made it to my appointment on time. She went 'above and beyond' to make sure I felt supported and looked after. I did not want to come back to the shop after the move but Shannon’s friendly and caring approach made me feel like a valued client, and I wanted to make sure she was recognised for the excellent support she provided.

I found a lump which was tested for cancer, requiring hospital treatment. They have still not refunded me for my outstanding laser package. On top of that, they closed the clinic in my city, telling me to travel 45 miles to the next closest one, WHILST on treatment! Please avoid doing business with a company with these kinds of morals.
I purchased a package of laser hair removal for chest, abdomen, Brazilian/Hollywood and perianal. I have 1 session left on chest and abdomen, however, I'm 60 years old and no longer have any dark hair on chest or abdomen. And yet they are refusing to move those two treatments to an area that does need treating. They talk about being fair. In what lifetime will I need chest and abdomen treated. And this is unrealistic and unfair and difficult. And yet they were more than happy to take my money.
Visit monthly for both facial electrolysis and full body laser, had Sam today! As always she made me feel very welcome and safe, which is important for something that can be nerve wracking. All the staff are lovely and I enjoy our appointments
Shame I cannot score this company below zero!! Unacceptable handling of my appointments, the last one was cancelled with only 25 minutes’ notice, while I was already on my way to the clinic.This is now the third time my appointment has been cancelled by Skin Space UK at the last minute. What makes this incident particularly unacceptable is that I have been waiting an entire month for this treatment, due to there being no availability earlier in January. SkinSpace UK sends confirmations and reminders emails which clearly state that clients are subject to a strict 48-hour cancellation policy. I find it deeply unfair and unprofessional that this policy appears to apply only to clients. Cancelling an appointment 25 minutes before the scheduled time demonstrates a clear double standard and a lack of respect for your clients’ time.In addition, I would like to highlight that the member of staff who called to cancel my appointment did not offer to reschedule, nor did they provide any meaningful solution at the time of the call. This left me without an appointment, without an alternative date, and without any reassurance that this situation would be handled appropriately.This cancellation has resulted in:- Wasted travel time while already en route, Disruption to my work and personal commitments,Continued delay to a treatment I have already waited weeks to receive and which I paid in advance last year!!! They are quick taking your money and not delivering the service which you pay for and not cheap either!At this point, this is no longer an isolated inconvenience but a recurring pattern of poor service.Please avoid at all costs!!
Update on experience, after five months of this saga, I am still awaiting my refund as I am being consistently ignored. They asked for my bank details in December, naturally I was pleased to have the saga over with, I am now being ignored again and no refund has been received.DO NOT pre pay this company, their businesses practices are certainly not ethical, I feel so sorry for their front of house/ reception as they cannot issue refunds and are having to deal with constant calls asking for updates.
Seems like skin space have a way with not providing refunds to clients who have asked for their money. I too am one of those clients who never got the refund back. Disappointment, sadness and frustration are some of the words I’d use to describe how I’m feeling. I’m appalled that a company in 2026 can get away with such blatant disrespect - it makes me shocked. Do better, be better. Skin space stop scamming people who are just trying to improve their lives
