I contacted the SmartyMe customer support to ensure that my subscription woukd not renew. Within minutes I had received confirmation that I had already advised them of this decision when I accidentally subscribed last year
So far, the information provided is decently valuable, but it's basically just reading/listening to a long lecture. It's not interactive. The lessons at the end are generic. e.g. if the topic was on being an active listener, the lesson at the end of the session would be "go out and practice active listening in public" and then it'll ask "how did people react". Not very targeted
Useful and practical information. Text is structured and not wordy. The only annoying aspect of the app is the continuous need for feedback. Make it a 👍 or 👎, after the complete lesson, with option for comments and feedback.

Ive tried multiple learning apps. This one works for me. Ive been an audio book guy for years and this app gives the option to listen and follow along with text at the same time. This drastically increases my comprehension and retention on the material. The app is easy to use and I like the way the subjects are presented, rather than some boring drop down list. It easy to switch between lesson as well. Also the material is easy to follow and presents the information succinctly. Lessons are short as well, 3-5 minutes, which is just long enough to keep my attention.
I accidentally agreed to pay for more than I wanted. This company was easy to contact, quick to respond, and refunded my money. I’m enjoying the parts I did mean to purchase.
The information received in these lessons are direct and straightforward. They relate to today’s world. People don’t have time to read complex books to educate themselves. These short lessons are easy to fit into hectic daily schedules.
I don't like the speed settings, if I have to change the speed to go faster or slower it's because I want to have that speed through the course not to change it every page this is to anoin , the talking voice would like to have more opinions and tones. Thank you.
So far the SmartyMe app has provided very basic tips and tricks for making small talk, but that's about it. Not sure that it's fulfilling all of things it advertised, like speaking like a leader, sounding more confident or eloquent, etc. I haven't finished it yet, so maybe there's more to come. I will say that it's very easy to follow, laid out well and quick!
I took one month subscription and actually never used it. But I remember I canceled it shortly. Then I got charged for another month for around 25 dollars. So, in total I lost for 25 dollars for nothing... The customer support said "Even if you canceled after your initial purchase, the subscription would remain active until the end of the current billing period, and then stop any future renewals. ", which means, once you paid, no matter when you cancel it, you will need to pay another month! It is a two month binding period there!
