This company is incredibly frustrating, much like the phone service that relies on them. It’s exhausting. They take your credit card information to withdraw money from your account, even after you’ve already paid the necessary service fee for a damaged device. I’ve spent over $300 in insurance fees. The worst part is that nothing functions on their website. Absolutely nothing. There’s no human support; you’re only interacting with bots that can’t assist you at all. I’m switching to another provider. This experience has been the worst.
What a useless company, as useless as the phone company using them . So exhausting. They take your credit card so that they can take money out of your account, even after paying the required service fee for damaged phone. Yet I’ve paid more than 300$ in insurance fee. The worst part nothing works on their site. Nothing,I mean nothing. No human being. you speak to bots who cannot do anything for you, you chat with bots. Useless company. I’m porting to another network. This is bad, never seen anything like it
I booked a repair through SamsungRepair.com (run by Likewize) for two straightforward issues on my phone: battery and headphone-jack replacement. I paid £248 upfront, including a £59 call-out fee.The technician arrived more than an hour late and then refused to carry out any of the repairs I had already paid for unless I agreed to buy an extra repair I never requested. I made it clear I wanted to proceed with the original work only and fully accepted any risks but he still refused to do the job. When I contacted customer service the next day, I was told they would not refund the call-out fee, even though no repair was performed and the refusal was entirely their decision. As of posting this review, they have kept the full £248 despite doing no work whatsoever. This has been an extremely disappointing experience, and I would strongly advise others to be very cautious when using this service.
Terrible company, it takes 48hours or more to get a response through the app and it’s been almost 3 weeks back and forth. My screen has smashed and water got into the phone, they said they would replace but require receipt. Provided it and then they wanted proof of usage from network provider provided that and now they said they need a picture of the side of the box??? Why I don’t know but I think I have got rid of the box after I opened it. Now I’ve been reading all their reviews and worried it might be an excuse now not to repair/exchange the phone.
I lost my mobile phone, and I made a claim and I provided all documents that I was asked for like proof of purchase from the company that I bought the device from. I sent it alone with a proof of payment from my credit card statement that shows this transaction. they also asked for proof of usage from my network and proof of barring also from my network. moreover, I was asked for proof that I registered the phone lost at immobilise.com which I also did. I also provided all proof about the circumstances that lead to lost of the phone. I also provided proof of payment from the coffee shop I was in at that time. after providing all that I was asked to provide, they asked me for the company that I purchased device from its VAT registered number. I contacted the company, and they told that they are not VAT registered as they are not required by law to be registered as their turnover is below the minimum required. I contacted the insurance and I informed them and they sent me an email after that, that all the documents that I sent it to them were accepted except the proof of purchase because the company that I purchased the device was "not reputable retailer'' which is really funny. I contacted the shop and they basically laughed as they are registered company with a legal licence to sell new and used phones and they have full trading license. I have been its customers for many years. their customers reviews online is perfect with 4.4 rate out of 5 on google review unlike Likewise which has very bad review 1.4 stars out of over 700 reviews. their reviews are really appealing. I contacted them and I raised a complaint however they still insist in their position.
I can't go lower than a 1 else I would.WARNING: DO NOT USE THIS COMPANYBy far and away, one of the worst experiences I have had with any company, ever.No transparency, incredibly poor customer service, waiting days and days for manager call backs. Lost device. Poor posting instructions(make sure you get a tracking ID from the post office as they will refuse to help you without this and do not make this clear anywhere!). Poor English speakers. Incorrect information again and again depending on who you managed to speak to. Outright refusal to acknowledge or open any complaints. There is something very dodgy and suspect about this company. Argos, you should be ashamed for partnering with Likewize and putting your customers through this experience.Much better options out there, do not be fooled by Likewize.Read other reviews before using Likewize! You have been warned.
Sent Likewize an iPhone 14 Pro Max 512 GB (Gold Color) from Germany via their Apple trade-in program. Entered my banking details in the form when signing up, so I know they have my IBAN number. They received the phone on 16. September 2025 and confirmed the value the same day. They confirmed the same value they initially offered me: 525 Euros.Status in my account since that day says: "Bank transfer will be processed shortly".As of today, 3. October 2025, I have still not received payment for the phone. There is still no sign of a bank transfer. I have sent Likewize multiple emails and they have still not responded after over a week. The Likewize trade-in program is a scam and Likewize is a criminal company that just steals people's phones via their fraudulent trade-in program, and does not pay people. Avoid!!
I have been unknowingly paying $9 a month to Likewize through Freedom Mobile insurance since my Galaxy Note 4 which I have not had in 10 years. I went to get a new phone when my Motorola screen got smashed. Freedom staff said I have insurance. I was not even aware. I made a claim and they said no problem but delayed 1 week, then 3 weeks , then 5 weeks , all the time saying it was being processed. Then an email saying it was denied with no reason given. This insurance is garbage.
Terrible terrible terrible company. Have never seen anything like it. Fix my phone same day but messed up the address on the return label. My phone has been sitting fixed un a ups building 20 mins away from me for a week and a half now. I cant pick it up myself because of shipper restrictions and i have emailed likewise 5 days straight with no reply and no fix. I finally got them on the phone yesterday and they made a ticket that will take an additional 1 to 2 business days if they can even process that in a timely manner. Terrible service, very unprofessional and bothing against the person but i could barely understand them and they could really understand me either. Never want to deal with these guys again.
