Review Time
I first ordered 2 sets of percale sheets 9 years ago. Fast forward, after closing the bottom sheet in the dryer lock and creating a whole I'm ordering another set. I LOVE my Snowe sheets and hope the quality will be the same as before. My other set and "unpunctured" sheet and pillow cases are going strong.
I have a giftcard that I’ve been trying to use. I have been waiting a year for them to restock their classic robes. I emailed and questioned as to whether they were going out of business because they don’t seem to be restocking any of their items. Seems as if they are selling off remaining stock before shutting the doors. But their response was always “we’ll have it in stock soon” or “in a few weeks” or keep checking back” They have been stringing me along for almost year. Then yesterday all of a sudden it showed back in stock so I ordered it immediately, got a confirmation only to be emailed the next day and told they don’t have it. They are the worst company I have ever dealt with. Who strings customers along for a year! I have read numerous reviews on how they are taking peoples money and not sending their orders. Something needs to be done about this company.
Where do I even begin? Not even 2 years ago I bought the linen sheets at the recommendation of my mom who had just bought herself a set. I shopped around and based on my mom's recommendation plus online articles raving about Snowe's linen sheets, I decided the $300+ might possibly be worth it. The promise of sheets lasting a long time and actually getting softer and nicer over time seemed appealing to me. Here I am, as I stated, not even 2 years later and my sheets are thinning out in several areas and now have holes in them. I have cared for these sheets per the company's care instructions. These sheets have not lived up to Snowe's promises and were not worth the cost. My cheap Target sheets have held up better. Not only did I receive a bad product but I have gotten less than satisfactory responses from the company. I have gotten the response of "our sheets are made to last but their susceptible to wear and tear, sorry for the disappointing response" (paraphrased) or "oh we are transitioning to a new manufacturer and new owners." Basically I'm SOL and out $300+. Their response times are slow and I've been trying to give the benefit of the doubt that maybe they don't have enough employees to respond or something, I don't know. But my requests for a better solution to my problem sheets have been ignored. I need to purchase new sheets now, too. These ones just keep getting worse. Not happy with the company or the product. If they don't resolve soon I'll be reporting them to the BBB. Their website says specifically on the page for linen sheets "...made to last for decades.", and "...primed to age beautifully." That's absolute BS. Don't waste your money on Snowe's linen sheets. You'll end up disappointed.
DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH SNOWE. Snowe used to be a reputable company. No longer. Snowe took our order and payment for bed linens ONE YEAR AGO. There followed a long string of excuses and apologies for delays and promises of future delivery. Snowe still has not delivered and has not refunded our payment. Now Snowe does not even respond to email and their listed customer complaint telephone number does not work. It appears Snowe has gone out of business and left paying customers in the lurch. We will follow up with the appropriate legal authorities.
I had high hopes for Snowe. I first purchased a down alternative duvet, which I love. Unfortunately, this is the only thing Snowe has done well. We moved so I purchased several sets of wine glasses, serveware and dinnerware. Virtually all of these have broken or chipped. One wineglass broke in my hands as I picked it up. Their customer “support” refused to do anything and accused me of mishandling items. These were just out of the 6 month warranty period. After complaining Snowe offered me a 15% discount on a future order. Stay away. This company produces rubbish and won’t stand behind their products. Absolutely awful company.
Ordered linen pillowcases last year and still have not received product; however, they charged my credit card at time of purchase. You are better off buying from just about any other company. Customer service refuses to credit money back. They offered a discount for another purchase. What a scam!
