Review Time
Due to YOUR REPAIR failing to service my boiler correctly over several years it broke down. YOUR REPAIR then refused to repair boiler under the terms of my service/ repair contract i have with them. I therefore paid IDEAL boilers to come and repair my boiler which they did and on their report it stated the boiler was in a very poor state of service and 5 items in the boiler had to be replaced. I then approached YOUR REPAIR suggesting they contribute towards the repair bill from IDEAL. YOUR REPAIR refused but offered a measly one months free premium to the value of £27 as a good will gesture. YOUR REPAIR confirmed to me that there engineers are allocated 20 minutes to perform an annual service on a boiler which only involves a visual safety check.
IDEAL boiler manufacturers engineer informed me that an annual boiler service should take between one hour to an hour and a half and involves several parts being stripped and cleaned and if the service is not done to the manufacturers guidelines the manufacturers warranty is void. Therefore the annual service provided by YOUR REPAIR will cause your boilers warranty to be voided.
I was with your repair for a year on the 2nd year they did a ‘auto renewal’ (Feb 25) and the price went up, I went to cancel thepolicy but they didn’t allow me to and matched the price of the year before. ( I knew I was going to be moving sometime in the year so didn’t want the policy)
In Sept I tried to cancel the policy, as I moved into rented accommodation, I tried to cancel the policy but they wanted to penalise me further so the policy continued.
I never used the policy or got a repair or service.
In Dec I cancelled the DD for £10 - They have now referred to debt recovery agency over £10!!( outstanding for the duration of the policy) What a awful company! Think carefully folks, don’t ever purchase from this company. I have complained to the alternative dispute solution. They forced me into continuing with policy. I tried to get ‘Jess’ ( she must be only CS assistant they have) she clearly had no customer service skills, I asked for details of the CEO, she referred us to the website, again awful lady representing the company! No details of CEO.
Awful service ! Never buy a policy with this company otherwise you will be trapped for ever!!
I recently had a problem with my boiler. Reported on the YourRepair app. Quick response and engineer came out within 24 hours. YourRepair arranged for the part to be ordered and fitted within 24 hours. Excellent result! Thank you! 🙂
Great fast service especially as we moved house phoned the office to change address and boiler details and the young lady called Taylor was so friendly helpful and efficient and made the changeover so easy to do.
In addition as the boiler at our new address hadn’t apparently been serviced or inspected for over 2 years, Taylor brought forward the annual service which was carried out less than a week after we moved in.
It was so good of her to be concerned and arrange this for our peace of mind.
The engineer who called was also excellent and issued a report and advice on how to use the boiler. All round a great service. This is our 4th year with your repair and found it the best service and cover we’ve ever had.
I’ve been with this company for eight years, and they’ve consistently delivered great service throughout that time. When my renewal came through higher than expected, I contacted them to query it. They dealt with it straight away, were completely fair, and actually offered me a cheaper price than I’m currently paying.

Well today I received a big shock. Had this cover for a while and just assumed that when you have boiler cover it actually covers your boiler. I paid £60 for the privilege for someone to come around (who was great by the way) only them to be told by Your Repair that the part that needs changing is not covered. I have spoken to a few friends who are in the game and they say they do loads of jobs like this and the insurance always pay out. So I need a new heat exchanger but been told I am on my own - wow. That will teach me not to read the small print, been with them for a number of years but when you need them they run for the hills - if you want cover that fixes the small things you pay £60 towards then these are your people - if you actually want a cover that covers what’s in your boiler - look elsewhere people - not happy
Your repair are good at responding and accepting jobs but the outcome is dependent on the attending engineer.
My last 2 jobs have had poor outcomes due to the engineers sent. The most recent I was told a new tank was required at great expense which I accepted was not covered.
An independent engineer fixed the leak by simply replacing the valve.
Having paid for peace of mind and cover with your repair I have been at the mercy of the decision of the engineer sent for the job.
The gas engineer was a very polite young man, who rang me first to say he was coming and on time. He was very proficient in his job and gave first class service. The whole process took him about 30 minutes.
I would recommend him to anyone. He even checked my carbon monoxcide detector and apparently it expired last September. Need to sort a new one.
Liars, dont turn up for appointments, told when taking out policy that if boiler was under 7 years old and in good condition at time of taking policy, that in the very unlikely event that boiler couldn't be fixed, your repair would replace boiler! Lies, now saying the would only replace if the fitted the boiler!! Absolutely lying bas**rds. Avoid like the plague
I had a deeply disappointing and frustrating service experience. The engineer who came was rude and unprofessional, referring to the toilet as a “nightmare” instead of offering real assistance. It felt like he wasn’t interested in helping, especially since it was around 5:30 on a Friday evening. After being left waiting, I was informed a week later that the issue couldn’t be fixed because it supposedly wasn’t covered, and I would need to pay out of pocket. This situation caused me a lot of stress and increased my anxiety. I truly don’t see the value in what I’m paying for each month if this is the quality of service I receive.
