Throughout the years, I've realized that when vendors begin addressing issues their primary customers didn't request, it leads to complications. As an owner in the managed services sector, actively participating in various global peer groups and industry discussions, I have not encountered widespread demand for remote access providers to transform into comprehensive RMM solutions. Most managed service providers already depend on established, well-integrated systems that encompass RMM, PSA, billing, workflows, reporting, and automation. These platforms exist for a reason. What many of us are witnessing instead is a trend towards more intricate packaging, additional tiers, and diminished transparency regarding pricing and licensing. The initial appeal was simplicity. When that fades, maintaining trust becomes increasingly difficult. There’s also a broader takeaway for all vendors catering to the managed services community. Performance, clarity, and focus are more crucial than branching into related areas that customers didn't request. Innovation is effective only when it meets genuine operational needs. Today, managed service providers have more choices than ever. When trust diminishes, they don’t hastily switch to a new platform. They discreetly seek alternatives. I remain optimistic that vendors who achieved success with managed service providers will continue to listen attentively to the community that contributed to their growth.
I need to support family ChromeOS and Android devices, and when I inquire about that, I eventually receive a response from the support team stating that I require the Enterprise product, but they do not disclose the pricing. As a result, I have decided to switch to a different solution.
Splashtop is so responsive and works well even in situations with unreliable internet connections. The apps are intuitive and easy to understand/use that secondary users need no training to start using. Very highly recommended to people that support various users and platform.
Developers fabricate concern.Don't expect any changes even if support or the developers tell you it's coming. They are not genuine. Repeated requests for changes are met with false statements about upcoming timelines that are not honored. If you're considering a remote support tool, look elsewhere.
I moved to Splashtop from LogMeIn, 'years ago', after LogMeIn decided to hike up their prices to ridiculous levels. Only Splashtop offered similar features and have looked after me ever since, for a very fair price. The product just keeps getting better and I use it to support customers, family and friends.I would recommend it to anyone.
