Unacceptable Experience with Order and Support

I was charged for an online order, but later I was informed that the order 'did not go through,' despite the charge still being pending on my card. This situation is even more frustrating as it occurred during a promotion, which raises concerns about the pattern of taking payments, canceling orders, and avoiding the promotion. To make matters worse, customer support was entirely unreachable when I tried to resolve the issue; I was informed they weren't taking calls due to a holiday event, with no option for callbacks or live support. Charging customers without fulfilling orders and having inaccessible support is simply unacceptable. I’ve previously shopped here, but after this incident, I won’t be returning. Caution to all buyers.

Charged my card, canceled my order

Sportsman’s Warehouse charged my card for an online order and then later claimed the order “did not go through,” even though the charge is very real and still pending on my card. What makes this worse is that it happened during a promotion, making it hard not to notice the pattern of taking payment, canceling the order, and conveniently avoiding honoring the promo. To add insult to injury, customer support was completely unavailable when I tried to resolve it and I was told they were not taking calls because staff was “off for a holiday party,” with no callback option, no live support, and no resolution. Charging customers without fulfilling orders and then making support unreachable is unacceptable. I’ve shopped here before, but after this experience I won’t again. Buyers beware.

Joker's warehouse

Made an appointment 3 weeks ago to sell a rifle. Showed up for my appointment, but the person (LANCE) the only person to approve purchase is not there. Move on to my second appointment, gun pick up (same day)… they say I have been “delayed”. Zero notification until I showed up for two appointments they scheduled. Customer service 0. Professionalism 0. This is my second bad experience with the gun department. I live in a place where there are two gun stores… Of the two, SW was the only one to carry the gun I wanted…SW average rating is 1.7 only because 1 star is a low as it goes as stated in many reviews.

Bought a gun safe online through…

Bought a gun safe online through Sportman’s, bought $600 in accessories for said safe, a week later when it was supposed to be available for pick up my order was cancelled due to “no inventory”. This was my first purchase through SW and I will NEVER return. Absolutely asinine.

I made a purchase online

I made a purchase online. In store pick up was scheduled for a week & a half later. 1 received an emai one day before my pick up date saying that the product was out of stock. I Called customer service and was passed around to 7 different people, not one of which offered anv resolution. Shame on them,I spend thousands of dollars a year on the products thev are peddling and thev could have been the recipient of my dollar, but no more. Power to the consumer we have got to get these money hungry corporations back in line, make them remember who wears the pants in these transactionsEdit: While I "appreciate" your hollow apology, I take narv a bit of solice in vour offer to have me passed of to the 8th customer service representative, as if that Nould have any more of a favorable outcome. Thanks no thanks. I wanted to give SW my patronage and hard earned dollar. I was pretty jazzed at the prospect of getting this firearm for such a great deal. I would give ZERO stars if…

I would give ZERO stars if available!!!!!Ordered a gun, added to cart, paid for it, showed me expected pick up date. Got email saying order was cancelled due to insufficient inventory, YET they still have them available in Alaska. BREAKING NEWS: UPS and others ship World Wide. The "nice customer support person" told me I could go to Alaska to get it? WOW is all I have to say. I get that it was a clearance sale product, but if you advertise it, allow customer to purchase it, pay for it, you expect it to be shipped!!!

Nothing but professionalism and knowledge and experience in the ammo that I was obtaining so all in all they were quick service and treated me well and provided me with the ammo that I needed for my trip thank you sportsman's

There was nothing wrong with the assistance inside the store.However, we later received an email from the store saying " we'll save our stuff for us"We never bought anything nor have information to anyone. It is EXTREMELY creepy to be tracked like that. I won't be returning to the store.

I couldn’t be happier! Purchased a pistol package on Sept. 4th, 2025. I picked local FFL to ship to. Gave Sportsman Fulfillment email address to send for FFL. After you purchase, you will see “contact customer service” They answer right away ! Gun package shipped Sept.8,2025 . Arrived well packaged to my dealer Sept.10th, 2025. NOTE : They are legit but NOT a lot of communication. No address, no phone#.only email. That’s why they can give the better price ! Large warehouse has many in stock items . If you follow the system , you will get your items fast. If you want a GREAT PRICE ! Follow the procedure after you make your purchase. You WILL be contacted right away and be happy ! If you can’t then pay more elsewhere.

Underwhelmed

Ordered a gift but Sportsman's Warehouse didn't notify me they had insufficient inventory to fulfill the order until a week later. Then they sent me a discount code for a few dollars off a purchase of $50 or more and the product is *still* listed on their website. No thanks- you can keep your measly code, I'll be shopping elsewhere.
