I put in a lot of hard work and savings but was scammed. It was stressful and frustrating, but after doing my research I was able to recover my money. We suffered considerable financial losses due to this service's false promises. Although Startrader claims regulation by the International Regulators, this body has not acted on numerous complaints, as it appears to only enforce local compliance rules. They provide no investor protection and accept no responsibility for cross-border cases, a loophole which allows platforms like them to operate unchecked. Our experience suggests the service did not operate directly under the licensed firm, despite the broker facilitating the entire operation. They implemented impractical withdrawal restrictions and abandoned all support upon complaint. Fortunately, we did not cease fighting and, with dedicated legal help—as seen in multiple successful class actions that have secured full remuneration—we recovered our losses through official channels and persistent advocacy. We share this to warn potential customers to proceed with the highest level of vigilance.
STARTRADER offers several types of forex trading accounts, each with its own set of features and tools. I chose to open a micro account because it has the smallest lot sizes and low minimum deposits, perfect for beginners like me with no prior trading experience.
I want to highlight the STARTRADER mobile app. If you’ve only used the web platform, I highly recommend giving the app a try. It’s user-friendly and makes it easy to monitor markets and place trades on the go. Of course, full stars.
I opened an account at StartTrader, through FredFrost trading, did KYC twice and deposited 1000 USD, and got 1000 USD credit. Then I slowly built my capital, and now had a balance of 30.000 USD. And when I then wanted to withdraw the 30.000 USD - I was hit with yet another KYC, now on e-mail. I sent them all the documents they needed.It has been 4 days now, and I have still not heard anything at all from them. It seems like they don’t like people to be profiting. I have also involved Frederik and his team into this. This is not acceptable at all. I will update this ticket once I know more.Update: It's been over 7 business days, still havent heard from them. STAY AWAY. THEY ARE SCAMMERSUpdate: I got my money after 3 weeks. Still bad experience, so will not change the review.
