We are extremely disappointed with Studio Fedde and the way this situation has been handled.
The kitchen fronts lose colour during normal use, even when cleaned only with a damp cloth in accordance with the care instructions. Colour visibly wipes off the surface, leaving patchy marks. To limit further damage, we avoided cleaning as much as possible. However, a kitchen is a high-use space, and this is not realistic. We do not have children, but with normal family use the deterioration would clearly occur even faster, which is unacceptable for a premium product.
After weeks of repeated follow-ups, a replacement was offered
. We agreed to this strictly on a provisional basis. The replacement failed immediately. The newly delivered fronts showed a clear and unacceptable colour mismatch, creating a checkerboard effect across the kitchen. We rejected the replacement and returned the fronts.
Each replacement attempt requires approximately twelve weeks for production and delivery, followed by additional weeks just to receive a response. Repeating this cycle is not a solution. It is an unreasonable delay.
We also discovered that information on Studio Fedde’s website regarding care, colour stability, and ageing of the fronts was changed after our purchase and after defects were reported. These changes cannot retroactively shift responsibility to the customer and seriously undermine trust.
Customer service has been dismissive and inadequate. During a phone call, a representative named Djef failed to address the issue substantively, repeatedly responding with non-committal acknowledgements. He promised to get back to us the same day and did not do so. He further suggested that if we want a refund, we should simply return the fronts, without engaging with the defect or the warranty claim in good faith.
At this point, we have lost all confidence in a fair resolution. We have therefore formally requested a full refund under the warranty and applicable consumer protection law. Both the product quality and the handling of this matter fall far short of what can reasonably be expected from a company positioning itself as premium.

UPDATE: the owner intimidates in several mails to remove honest reviews otherwise we will not get a solution which is a conflict with consumer rights! We believe honest consumer feedback should not be a precondition for resolving a product issue. Regretfully it seems like the only way to resolve the issue is by contacting the ECC and the authorities for consumer markets to intervene. If you have had similar experience we strongly recommend you doing the same.November:To be honest, we are super disappointed with our kitchen fronts. The color wipes off just by ‘wiping clean’ with a dry cloth, so patches form on the surface. This shouldn’t happen. They’re also made of MDF, with not even 1mm of wood which they do a really good job of hiding on the website. In store, the information is presented in a way that, in our experience, creates the impression that the fronts are real wood rather than engineered wood.We contacted the customer service for possible fixes and so far nothing conclusive nor constructive.. beautiful kitchen of dark walnut (because it is gorgeous) is now looking like a patchy cow 🐄 😂 IKEA would’ve been more durable and 1/4 of the price. Do not recommend.UPDATE February:It’s now 4 months later and the issue has not been resolved. Costumer service is horrible. Go and check around for other reviews, we are apparently not the only ones with issues where you can’t wipe the surface to clean it. And if you do, you have a kitchen where the color comes off…UPDATE MARCH:After removing our previous review (otherwise the owner and the company refused to answer), we were only offered half solutions. Given that experience, we don’t feel comfortable removing or altering our honest feedback again.
I ordered oak fronts and handles for my Ikea Pax wardrobes and they are the most gorgeous things ever. There was a slight manufacturing issue with the doors when they arrived, but after speaking to their customer service team, they were really great at getting it resolved quickly for me. Great customer service and beautiful products, I couldn't ask for more!
I was helped by Irene and I was extremely happy. She was patient, informative and also willing to help me solve some challenges on the dimensions. Her expert advice helped me choose the perfect kitchen design. I would happily recommend Studio Fedde, and especially Irene, to anyone installing a new kitchen.
