The idea is great. The system doesn’t work well in the cold. I have a phone case that blocks readers so I can’t use Bluetooth tap so it would be nice to have a card or RFD tag for my key to tap . It is a pain in the ass to try to open the door, Rangel my 4 year old, and the groceries and the facial recognition doesn’t work. There isn’t a handicap button , and we have handicap people in the building.lots of times it says its unlocked and I can’t open the door and i have to go to the bathroom, and have my 4 year old and i have to walk allllllll the way around the castle to the front to get into the door there it that one works. Get RDF tags or cards or something i can tap and the door opens. Get handicap buttons too.
The building I live in uses swiftlane to make entry safe and easy for residents and guests. I find it to be very easy to use and like that the building has this extra sense of security. It also makes it so easy to allow friends and family to visit by giving them their own guest code and not having to go let them in.
I love swiftlane and use it daily if not multiple times per day. It makes building access so incredibly easy not only for myself but also for guests, deliveries, etc. I also love not having to pull up to the scanner near my garage to touch my key fob but rather use my swiftlane app instead.
I have a great experience with Swiftlane in my building, it really makes life easier. I don't need keys me all the time because I always use digital unlocking or face ID in my building, and it's great to have differentiated codes for friends and deliveries.
It’s a good tools to use when living in an apartment however I would really love it if they had plate readers so when we pulled in the gate would open automatically without trying to scramble to find the app. Otherwise it’s fine and convenient when I need it
Swiftlanes software constantly breaks on their video intercoms and I doubt. They just allow police into apartment buildings with no warrant. They probably don’t care about your privacy or security and I’m sure the developers have not actually made the software and cameras secure. It probably wouldn’t take much now in the AI age to hack the cameras. Also I was reached out to by Swiftlane to write a review in exchange for payment which is clearly against their rules. So instead of accepting payment I wrote a brutally honest review of this poor company.
Our property installed a Swiftlane Intercom over a year ago and we've been very happy with the upgrade. Having the ability to unlock the lobby door with your face, remote unlocking and video calls are all big hits with our community members. When we have an internet outage or issue, Swiftlane's support team has been very responsive and helpful. If you're in the market for an intercom upgrade, definitely put them at the top of the consideration list.
Love Swiftlane! My building installed it about 2 years ago and it makes life so much easier. I love that I can generate specific entry codes for different people (ie deliveries, guests, etc.) I alo like that it has face recognition for me to enter - makes it super easy to get into the building without having to find my keys.
