rating as one star as i cant rate this as zero. ordered from website and the dress was a different shade to the color in the picture - looks grey in the picture and came as a dark red. Tried to return not even tried on as i dont wear red and the customer service manager was rude and condescending and refused return. Dress went in the bin. never again.
I love their clothes they are all very comfortable. The staff though at the Carindale store were horrendous. All the time i was in the shop they were focused on a small group of women, I had no issues with this as i like to enjoy personalised service also, though after I had waited at least 30 minutes it started to become an issue as I had other things I needed to get done. When i approached a staff member i was pointed in the direction of the dressing room, which was not easy to find as it is a shared dressing room. I then decided on an item and took it to the shared counter, waited 15 mins behind the same group of ladies, who were chattering about all sorts of fun things they get up to, no care for any other person waiting to be served. I changed to another server who informed me when i got to her she couldn't serve me, i moved back behind the chatterboxes. Across the counter another person was complaining about the time also. Finally someone called me over and apparently I needed to be at a computer screen inside the store which I hadnt been told about. As I got there, there was another person standing at this computer, the shop assistant progressed to tell me, she will only be a minute, this other person was first. This was my final straw, i proceeded to put my item on top of the rack that was beside me, told them sorry I am over this and left. I got into the car, found same item online, one hour wasted. I had thought if store was in a Myers I may get a better and more personalised service as the event I was going to was important to me to look the best i can. I was very, very wrong!! Never again!!
Really happy with my order from Taking Shape. The clothes fit me so well and feel super comfy. Shipping was quick too, which was a nice surprise. I had one small question about sizing and the team was genuinely helpful. Overall, just a really good experience
Recently I returned a faulty cardigan for refund to Parafield Warehouse store. Lou and her lovely team were extremely helpful and obliging and immediately worked through the processing of my refund. Within an hour I was also contacted from head office by very friendly Sarah who informed me the refund had been completed. Excellent service by a friendly, professional company. A breath of fresh air for these times. Highly recommend!
Taking Shape offers personalized fitting through a free in-store Personal Styling Experience, where you get one-on-one time with a stylist who helps select outfits in a private fitting room. This needs to be booked in advance (it's not a walk-in experience) - and my stylist at Frankston was Rachel. The experience was abfab! I normally hate the entire clothes trying/buying exercise, but with Rachel's help and honest feedback, it was a breeze!! Definitely the only way to shop in future!!!
I love the Taking Shape store in Napier New Zealand. The staff are always friendly, warm and very helpful. The shop itself is a kaleidoscope of colours and styles and a joy to browse through...:) Highly recommend ...Thank you ladies
I am a plus size customer, and also tall. I shop at Taking Shape both online, at the West Lakes Adelaide South Australia store, and sometimes through the Myers on-line site. The West Lakes store is a great place to shop. It has very helpful staff who are always friendly, courteous and patient in finding the right items for their customers. The online site is easy to use and displays images clearly. Taking Shape has a wide variety of offerings in terms of colour, size, shape, length and seasonal garments. The clothes are of good quality, and they make a great effort in giving us plus sizers something really pretty with great design and practical usage. Their clothing is great for travel as an added bonus. The basics range is also very helpful. I also find their pieces mostly combine well together when required. They also produce new ranges frequently. All round a great shopping experience, and always worth a visit.
T shirts use to be top quality, thick. soft, non-hot, washable material that kept its shape and lasted hundreds of wears and washes. I’m going back 5-7 years ago when I bought quiet a few that I’ve worn over and over. Some had gold stars on t-shirt with styled arms and curved front and back, another had a silver stripe amongst other stripes. All very stylish. All t-shirts now will be lucky to last 1-2 years. Material is cheaper quality even though the shirt is just as expensive and styles are mostly the plain t-shirt shape. I hope taking shape can look back at previous quality materials and styles and go back to when they made great t shirts.
