I’ve been using Tappwater’s tap water filter for a while now, and my experience has been very positive. The system is effective, and you can notice the improvement in the taste of the water from day one.
Installation is very straightforward and doesn’t require any technical skills, which is a big plus. On top of that, whenever I’ve had a question or needed to replace a part, the support team has responded quickly and efficiently.
Overall, I’m very satisfied with both the product and the service. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking to improve the quality of their tap water in a simple and practical way.
When the product functions properly, it’s excellent. The water has a great taste, and the filters last 6-8 weeks, which is acceptable. However, the quality of the build is very poor. We’ve had this product for less than a year, and we now need a third filter housing. There was a catastrophic failure with cracks appearing in the housing, causing water to spray all over the kitchen. To their credit, they did send a replacement housing after the first one failed quickly. Unfortunately, this new one has lasted less than 5 months. This level of quality is unacceptable and suggests a focus on profits over product reliability. I’m seriously thinking about switching to a better option made from stainless steel instead of plastic.

It has performed admirably in terms of taste, although we haven’t tested samples. We did notice that when filtered water is stored in a jug, it can develop a slight taste that seems linked to the coconut-shell carbon used in the filter. Additionally, our hard water affects filter longevity, prompting us to change it monthly instead of bi-monthly. Overall, we are very satisfied and will continue using this filter.
