Awful communication. CPQ3LX-1 booking code: Friday 09/01/2026 we had booked 3 weeks in advance to be collected from Charles de Gaulle airport (flying out of Birmingham) at 10am. Thursday night, when Storm Goretti hit, while we were staying at Birmingham Airport Hotel, we were notified that our flights had been cancelled and new ones arranged for a later landing at CDG.We immediately sent Taxi2Airport an update on email as well as on the WhatsApp Group chat they had created. We also tried calling and texting the driver, whose details we had been given, without success.Numerous communications were sent without response, other than automated email saying the driver was on his way the next morning, and then later an email saying that this would be treated as a customer no-show and no reschedule or refund would be considered.We are currently in the legal process of obtaining a refund, however this is more of a warning to the public to be very careful about paying in advance for this companies service, as you most likely will forfeit your payment if a flight is delayed.
The transfer service from the airport to the hotel and back was generally reliable, and all drivers were consistently friendly and polite. However, I need to address an important point of criticism: all drivers appeared extremely overtired. During the rides, I repeatedly felt that their concentration was significantly reduced – and with it our safety.For a service in which people’s lives depend directly on the driver’s attention, it is essential that they are well rested and in full condition. Overtired drivers pose a serious risk, regardless of how professional or friendly they may be.I sincerely hope that the provider urgently reviews its working conditions or driver schedules. Avoid this service – very poor experience. I booked a van transfer through Taxi2Airport, which was commissioned to AFA Transfer. Unfortunately, the driver never showed up at the meeting point. My flight landed 35 minutes early, and I was waiting at the gate from 18:00 for a scheduled meeting time of 18:40.Neither of the contact phone numbers provided worked, and despite multiple attempts, I was unable to reach the driver or AFA Transfer. When I finally spoke with customer service at 19:00, I was told that the driver had already left — even though we were present well before the agreed time.To make matters worse, I am now being told that the service did take place, which is simply not true. This caused unnecessary stress after a flight and left us without the service we paid for. Customer service is not replying any longer.I would strongly advise others to avoid booking through this service and to choose a more reliable airport transfer provider.
The driver did not show up and did not answer his phone. We finally managed to talk to the local agency and they told us that the driver had already left because our flight was delayed (they did have the flight number to check!) and immigration took too long. The driver or the agency did not even attempt to contact us before leaving the airport and left us to our own devices in the middle if the night. We had to take a normal taxi.The reaction of Customer "service" was ridicilous. They asked for photos of thw meeting point (what should we have photographed?) and declinded a refund saying everything was correct. I often take these services, usually with shuttledirect and never encountered problems, even when the flight was delayed. I will avoid this service and do advise everybody to so as well!
