I joined Terraxplora for Nepal and Bali trips, and both were amazing overall! About the Nepal trip, the places we were taken to had breath-taking views, were deeply interesting and eye-opening cultural wise. And of course, the sunrise in the mountains was the most amazing one I've ever seen. Treking overall was easy, and suitable even if you are not that much of a sporty person. The accommodation was, in my opinion, in most places more "modern/luxurious" than I imagined - so you could have really nice rest there between longer days.In my eyes, it was a perfect 12-day trip to see the main things in Nepal and feel the vibe there.About the Bali trip with Cassia S. Vibe in Bali was definitely more relaxed... beach/small island/village vibe, but yet enough grounded so you could meet new people, party, etc. Again Terraxplora had organized the perfect route to see many popular places and yet smaller hidden gems that were not so touristy (in the north, middle, and south parts of the Bali main island and Nusa Lembongan and N. Penida). One of the main things I loved about the trip was doing yoga/meditation almost every day and the water purification ceremony. Also, I personally loved that this trip wasn't much about partying, instead connecting with yourself on a deeper level and it activated some processes, that I started "digesting" later after Terra's trip ended. Cassia brought amazing, sincere energy to this trip, which was also a huge value, especially her yoga lessons.I loved traveling with Terraxplora and you will too, if you want to connect with other people and don't want to travel alone, but still get that almost solo-traveler experience!Terraxplora helped with everything including flights and any other questions that were related to the trip (what to bring, how to pack a bag) and also with ones that were not much related. :D Always felt welcome and heard.
Go solo, with a friend or a partner - Terraxplora will make sure your trip is properly planned and organised - just make the decision where to go and have the willingness to explore.Really passionate tour leaders and interesting itinerary with not typical tourist traps but with the real as authentic experience as possible.I enjoyed my 2024 Bali “low-season” island journey and urge others to look up what Terraxplora has to offer.
This year I completed a bucket list trip to Nepal with Terraxplora and it was absolutely fantastic.I probably would have never managed to organise or experience such a trip if I would have done it myself and both Martin (tour leader) and Wacyl did a fantastic job ensuring we are having the best time. The group was awesome, experiences were exciting and fun, and I fully enjoyed every single moment of it. I would 100% go again and hopefully I will join another one of Terraxplora trips in 2025.
It was truly an exceptional trip in every way! I joined the Thailand trip with Terraxplora, and honestly I got what I was told: I will explore the best of Thailand and see things I couldn't plan for myself with an awesome group of people. I did nothing else but explore, eat all day and let the flow decide what to do next, I mean Wacyl and their expertly crafted two-week itinerary built on 15 years of experience...So yeah, absolutely go for it, it's next level compared to any travel agency tours I've tried before.Thanks for everything ❤️
Terraexplora have planned for and taken care of everything so I din't have to! It allowed me to fully enjoy and absorb every experience and make the most of my time. Their trips are a marvelous, deep dive adventure. They brings balance between local and tourististic, authentic and comfort, thrilling and relaxing. I can't put into words how perfectly organised and wonderful the trip with terraxplora was. I really got to know the country, saw lots of hidden places, didn't have to worry about anything thanks to the great organisation and not only met new people, but really made friends. If you are interested in culture, local people, adventure and relaxation, good food and unforgettable experiences, you should definitely travel with Terraxplora.
Taking the Terraxplora Thailand trip with my father was one of the most beautiful and unforgettable experiences of my life. From the moment we landed in the vibrant city of Bangkok to the peaceful sunsets on the islands, every step of this adventure was filled with joy, discovery, and genuine connection — with the people, the land, and each other. We were in the group of 12 people who had the same goal: to tik off as many items from our Fucketlists (a little bit of a bucket list vibe, but with a twist) as possible. What truly sets Terraxplora apart is the thoughtful and soulful way they curate their journeys. This wasn't just a tour — it was a beautiful representation of culture, nature, and connection. We weren’t just visitors passing through — we became part of Thailand’s rhythm, its heartbeat.One of the absolute highlights for me was staying in the magical jungle treehouse. Waking up surrounded by lush greenery, the sounds of the forest all around us (I stayed and slept in a hammock during the tropical rain), and going on a wild jungle hike that honestly felt like a dream. It was raw, real, and insanely awesome. Also, we visited the elephant sanctuary. The feeling of washing and feeding the elephants — words can’t really describe how grounding and humbling that was. Just being so close to these gentle giants, in such a respectful and loving setting, moved many of us deeply.The tuk-tuk rides gave us a taste of local energy and were pure fun — zipping through streets, wind in our hair, smiles all around. My dad especially loved the remote reggae bar we found on one of the islands — it had such a chill, soul-soothing vibe that made us want to stay forever. And the waterfall and cave experience... it felt like stepping into a hidden world. I didn’t just see it — I felt it.Each place we stayed had its own unique character — from cozy guesthouses to a rooftop city hotel, a breezy beach bungalow, and of course, the unforgettable jungle hut. We traveled by tuk-tuks, trains, pick-up trucks, bicycles, boats — every mode of transport added flavor and depth to the journey.More than the places, it was the people — our fellow travelers, the guides, the locals — and the moments of laughter, and reflection (with sooo many deep questions, guitar nights) shared with my father that made this trip absolutely soul-stirring.Thank you, Terraxplora, for creating something so real and heart-led. Joined 2 week ambassador trip to Thailand organized by TerraXplora. What an amazing experience.The trip was well organized, a great combination of so called touristic places and remoter places. We saw things and visited places that I would not have found on my own. Good balance of traveling around to see as much as possible and having time to relax by the beach, a must do things and optional activities. Our guide was amazing- very active and finding time for everyone’s interests - what they wanted to see/do/were interested in. I definitely would go with TerraXplora again to another trip. Well worth it!
