Dear HR, please don't choose this service

As a user of the service: simply awful! The card keeps being declined for days, assistance is nowhere to be found.If you want to give benefits to your employees that they won't be able to use this is a great platform!

I've used several employee benefit platforms over the years at previous employers, and Ben is by far the most user-friendly!The platform offers a wide range of great options to choose from, and the Ben Mastercard gives me a flexible fund I can use to support my wellbeing.

I would recommend to go for something else

Got this benefit via a company I work for.Third time the same issue cannot be fixed - it prevents me from making payments on certain days. Also their support team doesn’t seem to care and just keep pushing you to sort it out yourself with your company (despite that the issue and functionality are clearly on thanksBen side).Overall not the worst provider of service, but definitely not the best. If there are alternatives or simple cash transfer, I would definitely recommend using alternatives.

Misinforming and Uncontactable

I had a BEN card connected to apple pay. I had loads of money in my account. Over the weekend all my transactions got declined due to insufficient funds (even tiny transactions). This caused me alot of headaches out and about.They don't have customer support at weekends, so i tried all the self service advice but that didn't work. When I shared my experience at work it it turns out everyone got the same "insufficient funds" issue. We all have enough funds in our account.

Awful experience

Awful experience. Had two contracts under the same email and apparently the old one simply overrides the new one so I cannot edit the insurance details. Takes ages to get to a support agent who does very little to help apart from checking with the dev team.The website is also extremely badly made: benefits not shown on mobile, the chat button often doesn't work at all, and I don't understand why they cannot just provide a contact email and forces people to use chat.

A somewhat frustrating company to deal with. We have been a customer of theirs for some years now but when you want to actually speak to someone there to sort things out you cannot. Shame

I LOVE Ben

I LOVE Ben. So simple to use and for the first time ever, I fully understand my benefits and use them more than I ever have. The wallet feature is a game-changer, allows me to spend a set amount on what's important to me - no points scheme, or questionable discounts, just monet that I can spend on what's important. And that changes month by month. Why haven't benefits platforms always been this way? I have used others that are so dull, I only logged in one a year. With Ben, I and most of my team log in weekly. Love love love it...

Our company previously used ThanksBen

Our company previously used ThanksBen, and switching to a competitor was a regrettable decision. With Ben, employee management was flawless—wallet top-ups were always timely, and accessing funds was effortless. Everything just worked as expected.Unfortunately, our experience with the new provider has been far from smooth. The solution was supposed to go live in January, but we couldn’t access our benefits until April—a three-month delay that caused significant frustration. Even after onboarding, we’ve faced recurring issues, including delayed wallet top-ups and difficulties accessing their app. These problems have not only disappointed our employees but also created a heavy administrative burden for our HR team, leading to numerous complaints and wasted time. Ultimately, this decision did not reflect well on the HR team, as it undermined employee confidence in their ability to manage and deliver critical benefits.In hindsight, the employee experience with Ben was truly outstanding, and moving away from it was a mistake. I highly recommend Ben to any organization that values a seamless, top-tier experience for their employees and wants to maintain trust and credibility within their teams.
