Review Time
This is a tough review. I experienced poor delivery service, possibly due to staff issues. HOWEVER, the company did refund my entire order, which I didn't expect. An apology or voucher would have been nice. I commend their final handling of the situation. Perhaps we all learned something from this. I was frustrated to receive a message stating there were no delays when I had been misinformed. I did not receive my order on the promised days, and only after I complained did I get any updates. While the company refunded my order without asking for the food back, I believe some customer service training and a shift in attitude would be beneficial.
This was a beautiful, high-quality four-rib beef. We appreciate good fat and marbling, and this met our expectations. The whole family adored it. We saved half for Easter. The only downside was the price increase; last year it was £75, and this year it's £160 for the same rib, which is a significant rise. This is why I rated it four stars instead of five. We struggled with the cost this year and had to cut back on other items, which was disappointing, but we don't want to compromise on fresh meat. I hope this doesn't happen again next year. Curious about the price difference between the two years. Thank you.
