We ordered a cake from The Cake Daddy for my birthday and it exceeded all expectations. The cake itself was absolutely delicious, beautifully decorated and full of flavour.
The customer service was excellent from start to finish. Communication was clear, friendly and professional, and the whole process felt effortless. Delivery was prompt and everything arrived in perfect condition.
Such an easy and enjoyable experience overall. Highly recommend and will definitely be ordering again. Five stars without hesitation.
If I could give negative stars, I certainly would. I ordered a specific cake three weeks in advance for my wife's birthday on Christmas Day. I transferred the payment weeks ago and was assured it would arrive on the 24th. I tried to reach out to the company multiple times throughout the day to confirm the delivery time, only to be told they would call back in 30 minutes, which never happened. Eventually, I managed to speak with a man and woman who had very limited English skills, and I was informed that the delivery driver was sick, and the cake would only arrive on the 29th! This is clearly false, as the same driver delivered another package to us earlier that day. This company has been a major disappointment, and I strongly advise avoiding them if you expect timely delivery. Absolutely terrible service, very unprofessional! If you seek reliability, steer clear of this company!
The cake perfectly matched the description and was incredibly tasty. The fun design was a huge hit with my son and his friends. It arrived on time without any issues, and the support team was excellent throughout the process. I will certainly choose this service again!
Fraudulent service. I ordered a birthday cake for my son to be delivered on December 20, 2025, and they took my payment of £202, including delivery, but failed to deliver anything. I reached out via messaging to inquire about my order, but they read my first message and then ignored me. They disregarded all subsequent messages and did not answer my calls. They are scammers. My son was left without a cake for his birthday party, resulting in disappointment and tears. They didn't even bother to communicate. Scammers, that's what they are.
Ordering from Gambia, West Africa was easy and seamless. The decorations and designs were superb, and the company excelled in timely delivery as promised. I placed my order through the online service. After a few days, I was contacted to confirm details. A few days before delivery, I reached out to ensure it was on track, but after two days of ignored calls, they called me on the delivery morning asking for cake details as if I was ordering for the first time and requested an additional £20 for a cake topper. The cake was also delayed by an hour and a half, arriving at 3:45 PM instead of the agreed 1 PM, which caused us to be late for the party. The whole process was terrible, with insufficient customer service and no regard for the schedule. I would not recommend this service.
