I bought three large motorized bamboo shades for my great room. Ordering instructions were detailed and clear. The shades arrived from China well packed with no damage, but actual delivery date was two weeks later than promised. Shades are good quality. Installation requires some skill and work. Customer service was fantastic, very responsive. Customer service, however, are not the technical people and basically just a window to the manufacturer. Motorized shades are a new product for The Hues. The scant operating instructions are incomplete, confusing and conflicting. Pairing the shades with the remote took numerous exchanges of emails. Also I am still working through how the remote actually works. It's not intuitive. Customer service promised continuing help and better operating instructions. Overall I'm happy with the shades, would be happier if the operation was easier

Everything was fantastic! We’ve installed one of the two recent orders so far — the other is on hold due to a construction delay.The quality is excellent, and we’re very happy with how the first installation turned out. The Hues provides great customer service. I purchased the four layer, thermal blackout curtains because I live in Florida and the heat is outrageous in the summer. So far, they have blocked all the heat from my sliding glass doors in the bedroom. The material is beautiful, soft and the other layers are leaving my bedroom cooler. The company answered all my emails and worked with me for almost a month. Very good service.
Be aware: Because the samples are apparently coming from a different location than the factory where the material is located, and there's not real great internal communication, it's possible to run into samples that don't match the ordered product in color. The difference can be fairly substantial. When brought to their attention, they do try to find something that more closely matches what was ordered, but there's no guarantee they will.
