Excellent products and service. Purchased 3 Luma Ultra Slim LED Oyster Lights which are well designed and built, and look perfect in our rooms. Also very well packaged and delivered on time.
Horrendous customer service - do not buy from this company. Claims to be operating out of Australia and New Zealand but sincerely doubt there's any New Zealand warehousing at all. Paid for express shipping which took over the outlined time to be fulfilled and now hasn't updated tracking in over a week which they are claiming is my responsibility despite what NZ CGA outlines.
Really bad experience. It took them more than two weeks to prepare the shipment of the item. They have absolutely no idea what they sell, the specifications on their website are misleading, and the product doesn’t look like the pictures at all. In the end, when I asked for a refund and return of the product, they stopped responding to me.This is absolutely disgraceful. Avoid this shop at all costs.
I purchased a set of lights about 2 weeks ago for my property. The click and collect timeframe was supposed to be 3-5 business days but ended up being 8. If you try to reach them on the phone, it takes at least 3 calls to reach them. So maybe don’t bother. I then realised I needed to purchase 2 more lights as the existing lights I have are different colors. When I called to see how long it would take, they couldn’t confirm if the other two could be provided on time. I then thought okay, this place is too difficult to get something done in a reasonable time frame (their time frames not mine), I’ll cancel it. When I asked to cancel my order I get hit with a 20% restocking fee for no product even available yet. That’s absolutely dodgy as. My order isn’t ready to collect and as far as I know might not even be in stock, so how can you be hitting me up for a restocking fee? Their website only mentions this when you go into their customer service section. Very handy of them to go 30 days return in bold on the main page but provide all this under T&C. I would not purchase from them and will be reaching out to the regulator about their dodgy restock fee.
We purchased a ventilation fan from Lighting Outlet NZ based on advertising that clearly stated it came with a standard NZ/AU 3-pin plug. This was incorrect. The fan arrived with a 4-pin plug, making it unsuitable for installation as advertised.When we contacted Lighting Outlet NZ, they refused to supply an adaptor or offer a return, despite the misleading advertising. A qualified NZ electrician also refused to install the fan without an SDOC certificate. We requested this documentation from Lighting Outlet NZ and were told they needed to obtain it from the manufacturer.What followed was four months of delays, excuses, and unreturned follow-ups. We were repeatedly told they were “waiting on the manufacturer” and that they would get back to us — which they never did.We also attempted to resolve the issue by contacting Lighting Outlet Australia by phone, however every call was redirected back to the NZ lines, leaving us stuck in the same unresolved loop.Ultimately, we contacted the manufacturer directly, who resolved the issue immediately supplying a new fan with a standard plug and a SDOC at cost to them.Misleading product information, poor communication, and a complete lack of accountability. We would not recommend Lighting Outlet NZ based on this experience.
What an appalling business.Advised delivery before Christmas then when paid was told delivery won't be until some time in January.Requested a refund due to their inability to make a delivery in a timely manner.Now told I will be charged a re-stocking fee!A re-stocking fee!Unheard of in Australia.And definitely not legal.In my opinion, these people are just thieves.What an utter disgrace.
I was impressed by the volume of product available in the Web shop.Ordering was simple and the items (G4 and G9 Halogen - LED replacement bulbs) arrived in good time and work better than the original bulbs.A choice of 3 colour temperatures, and the ability to put in a much brighter bulb than the housing was designed for, is an added bonus.Will be shopping here again!
Purchased a Bathroom 3in1 online 11th Nov, wasnt told stock have to come from Aus which got dispatched 17th Nov, items arrived in NZ 21st Nov and are now lost between NZ customs and NZ post, there's no formal communication and follow up from the seller i personally have to engage phone calls after phone calls. and iam still waiting for update and solution 4th Dec.Very unhelpful and frustrating as i have a massive hole in the bathroom for open home.
Horrible delivery times. I ordered 2 small halogen light bulbs and it has been 2 weeks and still has not been delivered! I contacted Customer Service and they said it takes 5-12 working das for delivery. I live in Grey Lynn (Central Auckland) and was sent from Silverdale (Auckland North Shore), that's 2 weeks to send a parcel 35km. I could have gotten it from Amazon in a week. Shockingly bad delivery times. I would never buy from them again!
