This journey featured an exceptional itinerary through some of the more secluded regions of Nepal on the GHT. The support from the office team, guides, western leader, porters, and kitchen staff was remarkable. Communication before and during the trek was excellent. Adjustments to the itinerary were made based on the best available information, and we had to change routes to ensure everyone's safety. The food was abundant, diverse, and tasty. The group preferred packed lunches over hot meals, and accommodations were made for this when feasible. This trek is challenging, located in remote areas. Prior long-distance trekking experience is strongly recommended.
The camping trek in the Himalayas offered breathtaking views and a peaceful experience with no other trekkers around. The efforts of the porters and kitchen staff were remarkable, particularly the delicious food they prepared. The guides were both knowledgeable and friendly, enhancing the journey. The pre-trip briefing provided was informative and beneficial. Overall, I had a fantastic experience with nothing to dislike.

Waking up to the sunrise in the mountains, with no other people in sight for a three-day walk, was truly breathtaking. It had been 30 years since I last camped!

The Manaslu Circuit combined with Tsum Valley is a popular trek in Nepal, showcasing stunning landscapes alongside rich cultural experiences. The route takes you through deep gorges and ascends to the 5,135m Larkya La pass, with views of Manaslu, the eighth-highest mountain in the world. The six-day detour into Tsum Valley is equally rewarding, featuring beautiful monasteries and important Buddhist sites. This was my first tea house trek after three camping treks with the company, and while there are pros and cons to compare, the tea houses offer power and WiFi, menus (though options are consistent), and daily showers. The itinerary allows for acclimatization, which is beneficial, although some hiking days are short, so bring something to pass the afternoons. The local crew was excellent throughout. November was an ideal month for trekking, with clear blue skies, but do remember to pack warm layers for the higher altitudes. Be aware that both the Manaslu Circuit and Tsum Valley are gaining popularity, so expect busy tea houses, but starting early usually leads to quieter trails.
The service provided was excellent, with superb guidance, logistics, and food! The trekking route from Naar to Upper Mustang was captivating, traversing diverse and remote mountain landscapes. The villages were fascinating, and we encountered few other trekkers.
This was my third Himalayan trek organized by the company, and as always, the service was outstanding. There was excellent attention to detail both prior to and during the trek. The local team was superb, and the food prepared by our cook was absolutely delicious.
Nanga Parbat is one of the highest and most impressive mountains globally. The company, in collaboration with a local operator, offered a unique chance to trek on the three main faces of the mountain and cross the 5400m Mazeno La. The trek was challenging, yet the scenery was extraordinary. The attention to detail and quality of support were exceptional, along with a sensible acclimatization program.
