Superb!! Recieved two parcels of Sencha tea and Dragon Well tea this morning. Superbly packaged, with tea details inside and flavour profiling.Lovely attention to packaging each tea, in wrapping paper. We had been using The Tea Makers Of London for 8 years, however we wont be going back there as their Sencha tea was mainly dust!The Sencha tea from here, is bright, clean long needles (no dust) and tastes beautiful! Very fresh.The Dragon Well tea, has a beautiful aroma as soon as you open the packet and can't wait to try it later.Excellent value for money also, the Dragon Well is way cheaper than the Tea Makers of London.You've got a lifelong customer now, thank you!
Very disappointed. The tea contained lots of debris and odd pieces that left the drink cloudy, and it also had an unpleasant smell. I contacted customer service to arrange a return for a refund but haven’t received any reply, apart from an email asking me to leave a review. Not the quality or service I expected! Still no response from the company since 10th November!!!I have sent photos to show the issue, but nothing..Reached out to PayPal and got refunded immediately, within seconds, therefore, its a well known issue for PayPal to react like that..
Unfortunately, I have to echo some of the previous reviews regarding a decline in the quality of the teas. I have already stopped purchasing the chamomile blossoms tea after receiving bags containing mostly dust. Now, I received an order of the “ginger root cut organic” tea which I ordered previously and truly loved. Sadly, this batch of tea came as mostly shavings and dust, whereas previously it was actually chopped bits of ginger. I will be looking elsewhere for my tea moving forward.
Good selection and pricing, and quick despatch. However this is the worst tea I’ve ever had in terms of taste and quality. It’s bad. I left a 2* review on their website but this was never published. This led me to look around their site at other teas and I couldn’t find any review less than 4*. So are they misleading customers by withholding negative reviews? I purchased based on the rave reviews but now I feel conned. Next time I will use a company with more integrity who treat their customers better.
I would give zero stars if possible. Ordered 2 large egg tea infusers. On opening the package only 1 had been shipped. Endeavoured to contact the company by telephone and email. The phone message states there’s no one available every time and although I have used the email provided I am yet to receive any communication from this company.Avoid at all costs!
I personally am a little confused at the low score this company has on trustpilot. I ordered several teas and infusions from this site, including:Temple of Heaven (Green Gunpowder Tea)Earl Grey Sencha (Green Tea Version of Earl Grey)Tropical Sunshine (Fruit Infusion)Lavender Flowers (Herbal Infusion)Jasmine Green Tea (Green Tea)Butterfly Pea Flower ("Blue Tea" Herbal Infusion)They all arrived well packaged (Plastic free) and are delicious, with the exception of the Butterfly Pea Flower, which is "Okay" but that's an opinion on the taste, not the quality, the quality is great!The teas are all fairly priced in my opinion, and I'll definitely be a repeat customer. The green tea version of Earl Grey is beautiful, and when prepared properly at a temperature of 65°C - 80°C I think it's much better than the usual black tea version.I don't really have anything bad to say about my order, hence my confusion with the low rating, I notice some people mentioning a lot of tea dust in their orders, But I didn't have that issue personally.
I am extremely disappointed with my last two orders. In one case the quality of the tea was much poorer than previously: Lot leaves broken in tiny pieces and tea dust.In the latest delivery, Darjeeling tea, and ginger and turmeric roots were sent together each in thin paper sachets, with the result that the Darjeeling has a very strong turmeric and ginger aroma. Terrible.
I have been ordering large bags of Organic Lemon Balm tea since last summer, and must say that the quality is superb. Comes in paper bag so a lot of glass jars might be necessary if ordering 500g or more. Fresh and good quality. I also tried Organic Elderberry, Rosehip, and Hibiscus which takes up a fraction of the jar space weight for weight. This tea was also very nice. As a customer I am very happy with my purchases
They charged me more for postage for LOOSE TEA than the actual item. They sent to Spain never informed me that I would have to pay additional tax to the Spanish post office before delivery. They will not speak to anyone on their phone and won't answer emails they are probably scammers. If you expect customer service do not use this company. Have sent 6 emails 3 messages on their website and phoned them 8 times. The Spanish post office sent a letter to me saying I had to go online register set up an account pay money dated 1at Feb. Received on 11th Feb had 5 days to do this so lost the parcel. This will be returned to the company so they will have the tea back plus my 50+£ !!!! I am starting a visa dispute. Do not purchase if you expect any help afterwards or if you live outside the UK. We left the eu in 2020 I cannot be the first person outside the UK to purchase. Their staff should have put online that there would be tax to pay and I would not have bought. If they don't know this then they should not be selling outside the UK!!! Terrible company. Beware
