I’ve had an extremely unsatisfactory experience with the service. I was charged £94 for a new subscription and blood test that I did not expect or want. The only notification I received was an email sent at around 4 a.m. on a Saturday morning. Since the service can only be contacted on working days, I was unable to cancel or question the charge over the weekend, while the money had already been deducted. If I had been informed even a few days — or a week — in advance, I would have canceled immediately. Receiving a last-minute email at such an inconvenient time seems intentionally designed to prevent customers from responding in time. Additionally, the refund policy requires paying £15 for the kit, even though I never requested it in the first place. Overall, the process feels misleading and unfair. I do not feel valued as a customer, and I would not recommend this service due to the way subscriptions and charges are managed.
The process for drawing blood and mailing tests is efficient, and results are received promptly. The variety of tests offered is broader than some competitors, but the pricing is significantly higher. The reason for the 3-star rating is the quality of the report that is supposedly prepared by a doctor, which is quite lacking. It contains generic text that does not pertain to my situation and offers poor recommendations. I utilized the raw data from the test and input it into an AI tool, which provided me with much more relevant information and actionable next steps than the so-called ‘doctor’ report. I even consulted the AI about the recommendations from the ‘doctor’, and it detailed why they were inadequate for my specific results. After further research, I confirmed the accuracy of the AI's feedback. I recommend that the company either eliminate the ‘doctor’ reports or ensure their accuracy.
