We purchased a 2-day pass for three adults, costing over £200. On the first day, we waited an hour for a bus to Uptown, but the audio only started halfway through Central Park, making us miss our desired stops. Walking was difficult for three seniors with health issues, and we didn't see another bus all day. The next day, we waited over 40 minutes for a Downtown bus that never arrived, forcing us to use the subway. We missed the Liberty Cruise due to the absence of buses. This company misrepresents its services. Despite many street vendors selling tickets, there were no actual buses for hop-on, hop-off, leaving us £200 out of pocket. This experience spoiled two days of our short vacation, and I strongly advise others to avoid this service.
The best bus tours feature live commentary from locals sharing their stories. Unfortunately, our bus had a cold, pre-recorded commentary that lacked warmth. Midway through, the route changed without mentioning that it wouldn't go near the Statue of Liberty. It also passed by the World Trade Center area without acknowledgment, leaving the commentary unable to address these changes. While long waits at stops are expected, waiting 15-20 minutes was excessive. Overall, this was a regrettable use of money. I recommend avoiding this tour.

What went wrong? Where do I even start? I bought a 'discount' ticket for 72 hours, only to find it was cheaper online by $10. The brochure mentioned 'access' to two museums, but a street seller told me admission wasn't included. Confusion surrounded the admission to 'The Edge' and 'Top of the Rock' as well. I almost missed the Bronx Tour because a street seller incorrectly warned me about the pick-up stop, which was only two blocks away. The buses were infrequent, and one had a malfunctioning audio system—many gave up trying to listen. The street sellers seemed mostly focused on selling tickets, and many had language barriers. The app was incompatible with my phone, forcing me to get a printed ticket with minimal information. I tried to make the most of my experience, but the uncertainty about museum access left me unmotivated. Customer service did not follow up on my complaint, leading to this review. Overall, I was dissatisfied but managed to see enough of the city with my ticket.
We had a fantastic experience with the bus tours in New York City! We completed the Uptown, Downtown, Night Tour, and Boat Tour in 48 hours, and it was worth every moment. The tours were well-organized, covering all the must-see landmarks, and the commentary was both enjoyable and informative. A special thanks to a representative at the Empire State Building who was incredibly knowledgeable and patient. He helped us choose the right package and guided us on what to do if issues arose. His friendly attitude and genuine assistance made a significant difference. Thanks to him, our experience was smooth and enjoyable. I highly recommend this service for anyone visiting NYC!
I wish I had read reviews before booking and will warn everyone to avoid this company. I experienced issues with audio, buses not arriving on time, and rude drivers. When the audio worked, it was either music or the driver shouting about something unclear. It was a terrible experience, and I'm requesting a refund, but they refuse and only offer to reissue my ticket, which I don’t want. I had high hopes based on prior experiences with other providers—don’t believe their marketing; they are simply the worst.
My experience with this service was awful. There were aggressive sales tactics on the street, and we waited over 90 minutes when we were told the next bus would arrive in 15 minutes. The service was overpriced, and the staff were rude.
This was a horrible experience. There was zero organization, with aggressive street sellers pushing flyers at us. We foolishly bought tickets in NYC, but the headsets only played music with no audio tour. When I raised the issue, the driver simply shrugged it off. There was no reliable contact number for support. I requested a refund but received no response. I strongly advise against using this company; opt for a more reputable provider.
I had a disappointing experience. If you have to choose, go for a different provider. This service has old buses and significant wait times, ranging from 30 minutes to an hour. Forget about the advertised buses arriving every 10 minutes—definitely to be avoided. At every stop, I saw multiple buses from another provider while waiting for this service, which often arrived with no available seats.
