Don't know how it is from buyer perspective but for merchant it is very, I mean very long time, I've experienced such a bad Internet service. I tried to be a merchant selling my eBook. The site resembles glorious days of late 90s. The interface is very non-intuitive. To find what I need I often found myself in a situation of quiz game. They have 2 levels of administrative interface discovered through something like watermark! Trying desperately to update a new revision of my eBook (and this is after I initially gave up and after 3 days delay for help) I somehow managed to delete the file altogether. This may question my credibility and intellectual power in general but I am using Internet for 25 years being a SW engineer. After I involuntarily deleted the file I immediately applied for help of Tradebit. Meanwhile a customer managed to buy the goods without ability to receive it - another childish flaw of the platform, which I couldn't believe exists in nowadays if not being involved by myself. The help from Tradebit didn't come even though I applied to them 4 times during two days through different channels. The customer rejected the payment. Only after that I received a patronizing mail from them reflecting on what I "did wrong" while "all other merchants follow successfully" their lines (apparently all have the same problems, ask for help but this doesn't become an incentive to fix the interface). No apologies for not answering me, for me losing the client and making an awful impression. What can I say? I can't remember time when I was so surprised.
AFTER SPENDING COUPLE OF YEARS WITH TRADEBIT AS A SELLER, I FOUND THAT THE TRADEBIT ADMIN CHEATING AND SUCKING MONEY IN MANY WAYS FROM THEIR LISTED INDIVIDUAL SELLER. AFTER SOLD AN ITEM THE BUYER SEND PAYMENT TO TRADEBIT AND GREEDY TRADEBIT TOOK THEIR SHARE FROM THAT, HOW MUCH? IT IS 50%. I DON'T KNOW, HOW THEY ARE DOING THIS WITH EVERY SELLER YEAR AFTER YEAR AND MAKE HEALTHY THEIR POCKET, POLISHING THEIR DIRTY FACE BY GIVING FALSE WORD. IT IS REALLY SHAME AND SHOULD NOT BE ANY BUSINESS POLICY. THEY SHOULD BE KICK OUT FROM GLOBAL E-COMMERCE.
Bought some Manuals but they were useless and the supporting software would not work so I reclaimed my Money.I had written to the seller via Tradebit.com 3 times over 3 days from the date of the purchase asking for assistance. NO RESPONCE WAS RECEIVED.So I sent an Email to Tradebit Explaininng my problem and total lack of help from the seller. The Full amount I had Paid was back in my PayPal account within 6 hours of my Email to Tradebit.Their action in respect of my problem was Exemplary and an Example to Others who take Money on the Internet. 5 STARS TO THEMRegardsMike Stone
I had a complaint as to a product bought from the company. That product was a trading product and thus not produced by the company. The response was immediately and within a few days, I got my money back. That is the kind of behavior making people buying again. Jan Carlsen, Denmark
Paid $20.99 for a Toyota Matrix service / repair manual. It's been almost 24 hours and have yet to receive the manual. I have been given the runaround being told the manual is compiling and will be sent. I'm pretty sure at this point Tradebit is a scam. Buyers beware.
I have purchased three times from Tradebit.com in the last 2 weeks. I have needed two refunds because one of their vendors is selling a car repair manual that it not a manual. So two refunds have been issued either the same day or the next day so I am very impressed. On the third time I finally purchased the good repair manual from another tradebit vendor and it is exactly what I needed for just $17. They are a new style of company offering a service much like Paypal and they stand behind their process and are very rapid in their responses and refunds through paypal. Given their service I cannot ask for more.
