Waste of money for auto repair manual for 2004 GMC Sierra 2500HD. I paid for access to what was advertised as the GM Factory Service and Repair Manual. The information I have access to, however, is almost useless. There are no pictures, no diagrams, no maintenence information, no table of contents or usable index, no detailed repair procedures, almost nothing useful. Any diagrams referenced in the guide ended up being links to 3rd party auto parts online catalogs. A Chilton's or Haynes manual is lightyears beyond this. It is definitely NOT the factory service manual, which consists of several volumes of highly detailed and illustrated procedures, diagrams and specifications. I have asked for my money back. Huge disappointment. I wish I would have found these other reviews before I gave them money. It is my opinion that tradekey and repairsurge.com are untrustworthy companies. Stay away.
I have tried to make contact but local telephone number and the email addresses I am using keep bouncing back. Just need an invoice for our accounts. Not so straight forward as I was hoping. Now don't know what to do!
I have been charged three times for the same downloaded manual. When you try to contact the company, none of the email addresses provided actually work. There is no phone number either. I am not impressed.Since writing my review, Tradebit have been in touch and promised a full refund on the over charging, so have changed my rating from one to four stars. Would also like to add that the manual I found with Tradebit, was quite difficult to come by. They are one of the few organisations that had it. Thanks
I bought some Karaoke files, they never came, and never got my refund.I do not think tradebit check the honesty of their clients.And there is no response from tradebit.I don't know what else to say.I am really disappointed.Juanmanuel Garcia
I ordered a digital download of a repair/service manual for a car I am working on. The manual was advertised as being instantly available once I paid the $14.95. After I paid for the digital download, I was instructed to download the manual but when I opened the file it was instructions for opening an account to actually receive the manual from a different website. That website wanted another $19.95 to supposedly access the manual. So I paid $14.95 just to be redirected to a site where I'd have to pay an additional $19.95. I have contacted tradebit's support and have yet to even receive confirmation from tradebit about a refund. I also contacted the Better Business Bureau. Very dissatisfied, unable to do the repairs on my vehicle, and very annoyed with this whole ordeal. I will never trust tradebit.com for anything.
