I worked with Translate.com as a freelance translator for four years, consistently delivering work and remaining available even for urgent projects.
After my last assignment in January, I was suddenly ignored with no explanation. After multiple attempts to contact them, I received a generic response about internal reorganization, but no real clarification or follow-up.
Since then, they have stopped responding again.
Being treated this way after years of professional collaboration is disappointing and reflects poorly on their communication with freelancers.

Unfortunately, I fell into their trap. I worked with this company on and off, accepting ridiculous rates (under $0.05/word) and their payment policy (they don't pay anything under $20). The end customer, however, has to pay between $0.07 and $0.18 per word. Unbelievable! Another company to join the growing list of companies to stay away from. My account has been stuck at $8 for two years, and despite my repeated requests for payment (and subsequent intention to close my account), support first doesn't respond, then pretends to help, and nothing changes. Stay away from this company and their sister companies (Emerge Media, Digital Future).
From my perspective, this service helped out team run a global marketing campaign. We used Translate.com to adapt social posts into multiple languages. Everything stayed true to our brand voice. NGL, I was skeptical before, but after seeing the results, I'm convinced it was the best move. Our overseas clients appreciated the localized approach.

This company is not honest I ended some tea saltion from polish to the web page and mi college in Poland told me this is some strange translation and some words are not even in polish. Them send invoice 1 time week and I told them I don’t pay for someting ho can damage my reputation online if I believe everiting is correct. I DONT WELL PAY and please stop to say about lawyer etc etc. because if you don’t stop I we’ll publish every where on media how fraud and fake your services FAKE FAKE FAKE FAKE FAKE FAKE FAKE FAKE FAKE FAKE FAKE FAKE FAKE FAKE FAKE FAKE
The first time I used their services, it looked like no human was involved in 5 of 6 languages and I had to file a complaint. Had something more decent after that.I thought I'ld give them a second chance. They promise 2 hours completion time. It is now the 3rd day and I still have nothing. I wrote to the customer support. They say everything is ready. But their website says my orders are "pending", I cannot download anything and nobody seems to care either. I will not give them a third chance.
