I have received a document (including full name, date of birth and address) of a stranger and my translation was flawed and even though I asked for a revision I was just given a refund instead of dealing with my concerns. It has to be noted, that the translation did not only include minor mistakes but even some that changed the context of parts of the document. I am extremly unhappy with the many minor inaccuracies I saw. I have to say it is a plus that they even engaged with my requests, although I feel like their answers seemed to be full of gaslighting, guilt tripping and straw-man arguments. I do not feel like this company took my data protection seriously. To give them credit they insist that there was no breach concerning my personal data although i cannot rest assured. If they sent me sensitive information of someone else, how could I be sure that the same could not have happend to my data. They said they will handle data security better in the future, still this impacts trust massively though, especially regarding the importance of the documents they handle.I have to admit I just feel left alone. I did raise my concerns and I talked about my problems with the translation and even specifically mentioned my wish for a revision. One Mail later I was told the conversation will be deleted and I could have gotten a revision if I had asked for one, and I did ask for one beforehand.
