I reached out to several members of the support team for help with flights. I expected only a slight price increase compared to direct bookings, but encountered a significant rise of £150. The explanation was that third parties and multiple agents were involved, leading to higher costs. Unfortunately, this resulted in a lost opportunity for the company due to their rigid pricing policies. Although the staff were courteous, they could not provide the assistance I needed.
I contacted several members of the support team for assistance with flights. I anticipated that the prices would be slightly higher than booking directly, but I found a notable increase of £150 compared to both direct airline bookings and other travel companies. I was informed that this was due to the involvement of third parties and multiple agents, which raised the costs. Unfortunately, this resulted in a lost sale for the company, as their pricing policies lacked flexibility. The staff were polite but unable to provide the help I needed.
I received a gift card valued at £160, purchased by my colleagues for my birthday. Unfortunately, my attempts to redeem this card have been extremely disappointing, raising concerns about misleading advertising and accessibility. After several tries to use the card on their website, I discovered that the card number did not work, preventing any bookings. The online process is not user-friendly or reliable. When I finally reached the call center, I was told to avoid the website and book by phone, which contradicts the product's marketing. The difficulty in accessing customer service compounded the issue, as I spent long periods in call queues without assistance. The card also expires after 18 months, which is unreasonable for a travel gift card. Additionally, the claim of usability across “250+ websites” is misleading, as bookings must be made exclusively through the company’s platform. Overall, this product falls short of consumer expectations and has caused unnecessary stress and frustration.
I ordered a trip that was listed on the provider's website for £280. I had a £100 voucher, but when I booked, the total came to £350. I expected a slight increase, but £70 more is excessive. Now, my voucher feels like it's only worth £30 instead of £100. This has turned out to be a waste of a gift, and I advise against buying them.
UPDATE: I contacted the address provided in the response, and the company kindly extended the expiration. We finally managed to get the website to accept the card, so I’ve raised my rating from 1 to 3 stars due to this resolution. However, it was frustrating to deal with initially. ORIGINAL REVIEW: This company is a joke. I received a travel gift card that expired recently. Their gift cards expire after 18 months, which seems unreasonable for a travel product. I faced numerous errors while trying to book and contact them. Their system is buggy, and reaching customer service was a challenge. It feels like I've lost my £100, and I cannot recommend this company.
