The claims department consistently denies every single claim submitted, regardless of the documentation or medical necessity. They benefit financially from holding onto your money, making it feel like your funds are being held hostage. If your organization is thinking about using this benefits provider, it's advisable to reconsider. Overall, a very frustrating experience.
I reached out to customer service regarding an existing medical savings account. Initially, I contacted them because an expense wasn’t processed despite submitting a receipt twice. Their website showed a balance, but I was informed by a representative that the funds were available. When the expense was finally processed, they denied the claim. Ultimately, they stated that even if the website and the representative were incorrect, they would adhere to the plan's rules. There was no attempt to rectify the situation or acknowledge their error. Their last email was quite rude. I will not engage with this service again and will advise my company to discontinue using them. They seem to outsource all their work and exhibit a lack of performance. If a zero-star option existed, I would have chosen it.
My employment ended on July 31, 2025, and the service was notified beforehand. I submitted my COBRA enrollment form along with payment on August 19th for coverage from August 1st to August 31st. However, as of August 26th, I still have no coverage despite numerous calls to the service and my insurance provider. The customer service has been unsatisfactory, and the delay in sending the COBRA enrollment form two weeks after termination is unacceptable. I require medication costing over $400 and cannot afford it without insurance.
This service has been an excellent PEO for our organization! Managing multiple entities is easier with the same login information, allowing us to toggle between companies and generate multi-company reports. Having a dedicated account executive is also a plus, and the benefit options are impressive!
There's good value in integrating payroll, hiring, performance, and more. However, the implementation took nearly six months. While it often works well, some features lack customization, particularly payroll calculations that default to a 40-hour workweek instead of our 35-hour norm. We often have to make manual adjustments for non-standard payroll tasks. Features like employee engagement surveys and performance appraisals have customization limitations.
I'm new to this service but not to the PEO world, and I really appreciate the platform! The benefit offerings are important, and we want to provide a robust selection for our team. We quickly realized that the platform and customer service are equally crucial, and this service has met our expectations!
