Great company until you request a refund on a ticket on medical grounds with proof. Then suddenly they ignore all evidence claiming its 'insufficient'. I guess this is another company only making customers happy as long as their taking their money!

I had a great experience with managing my flight ( Re:1167724407756131) , thanks to Robin. I needed help managing my flight booking and Robin was incredibly kind, patient and supportive throughout the whole process. They walked me through my options, resolved everything quickly and made what could have been a stressful situation completely hassle-free. I appreciate Robin’s professionalism and genuine care . Truly five stars. Thank you, Robin!

I wish there was an option to not give them any star because they don't even deserve a single star. I booked a flight through Trip.com which was changed by the airline. I submitted a change request 15 days back and it is still in processing. After multiple expedite requests and phone calls I keep hearing promises of someone getting back within 2 hours but till date no one has bothered to respond back even once. I'm expecting that at the last minute I will be informed that there is no availability on the alternate flight and I will have to bear the huge cost of last minute booking. Why should the customer bear the cost of inaction from the third party booking platform?

Trip.com’s customer service staff are polite and helpful, but the booking system itself is disappointing. The price match guarantee is misleading. The room I booked dropped in price twice after I confirmed the booking, yet no refund was offered.
Instead, Trip.com only provides Trip Coins or credit after checkout, which can only be used for a future booking. If you do not plan to book again, this credit is effectively wasted.
Be very careful with the terms and conditions, as they can easily catch you off guard.

I booked ticket by trip.com last month. I have bad experience with them. I missed my flight for delay. Then I talked with them about my refund. They can't manage my refund. It wasn’t my fault. Qatar Airways delay extra 4 hours that why I missed my another flight. I didn’t get any compensation for extra 4 hours delay and I can't get my refund for missing flight.

Trip.com, terrible service. DO NOT book checked luggage via them. We did and it was not recognised by British Airways, so we had to pay BA direct at the airport. When requesting a refund from trip.com they make it very difficult and do not recognise the issue even after sharing the receipt with them and additional BA receipts. Very disappointing experience

My experience with this case was highly unsatisfactory. I had a confirmed and accepted booking for my flight from Melbourne to Ho Chi Minh City. After multiple schedule changes, I formally accepted the final updated flight inside the Trip.com system and travelled to the airport according to the confirmed departure time. However, at check-in, the airline informed me that my name did not exist in their system, meaning my confirmed booking was not valid. Another passenger who also booked through Trip.com experienced the same issue, indicating this was not an isolated case.

Throughout the process, there were inconsistencies in information, lack of clear accountability, and responsibility was initially shifted to the customer. I do not accept the explanation of a “sudden schedule change before departure.” At the time of check-in, the airline system clearly showed the flight dated 10 February, while when I contacted Trip.com immediately afterward, your system still showed 9 February. This clearly indicates a data mismatch between systems rather than a normal airline schedule change.

Although the $83.23 Uber reimbursement was eventually offered, it does not adequately reflect the overall impact and losses caused by this incident, including lost work time, indirect costs, and significant inconvenience.

Overall, the handling of this case did not meet reasonable service standards, and my confidence in the reliability of the booking platform has been significantly affected.

I bought what I thought was a flexi travel ticket to change the date for my return flight. Unknown to me when I wanted to change the return ticket date I could not unless I paid excessively for another flight. Defeating the object and very misleading, if I had known this beforehand I would not have bought the flight ticket.Rang Trip.com 2/3 occasions would of had to pay more or less the cost of a complete flight.
Felt so wrong 😑

Trip.com’s handling of customer issues is extremely incompetent and inefficient.
My flight was cancelled due to weather. Under these circumstances, all alternative rebooking options were extremely limited and disappearing by the minute.
I contacted Trip.com immediately and provided a viable alternative route. Under APPR rules, this rebooking would have been fully permissible — it only required Trip.com to promptly contact the airline. Instead, the agent did not even check the route until 20 minutes later, by which time the seats were already sold out.
They then proceeded to waste at least two additional rebooking opportunities. Before the seats sold out, they had not even contacted the airline to submit a request. This only required a simple call to the airline, yet Trip.com insisted on following an excessively lengthy internal process.
After escalating the issue, a supervisor assured me they would rebook me “at all cost” — those were his exact words. I was later contacted by an individual claiming to be a manager, who informed me that the rebooking had failed and strongly denied any delay or responsibility on their part.
Ultimately, I was forced to pay an additional CAD 500+ for a rebooking ticket. I was also misled by the checkout interface into purchasing TripFlex for over CAD 80, which provided no benefit in this situation.
