I ordered a delivery from a local Thai restaurant. The delivery time kept getting pushed back further and further until I had no choice but to cancel and order from somewhere else. I left a negative review on Tripadvisor, and the restaurant owner replied, saying I had been offered a replacement meal which I could pick up myself. This wasn't the case, so I complained to Tripadvisor. They replied that since the owner's reply didn't break any laws, they were going to leave it on public display. It's hard to trust a website that allows people to lie and get away with it.

Poor Takeaway Experience

I ordered from a local takeaway after my mum was admitted to the hospital. I walked 15 minutes to get two scampi and chips, a quarter pounder meal deal, and a minced beef pie. Upon returning, I found the scampi portions were tiny, one box contained chicken instead, and the pie was partially frozen. The quarter pounder was barely acceptable, and the chips were average. This establishment is more suited for pizza and chicken, and doesn't deserve to call itself a fish and chip shop. I had limited time to visit my mum, making it impossible to return for a refund. I strongly advise against this takeaway.

Disappointing Experience

The New Year's Eve party at a local venue was advertised at £40 per person, including a buffet, venue, and a DJ playing 70s music, with a dress code to impress. My group dressed in 70s attire, as did others we spoke to. Unfortunately, the DJs played unfamiliar music and ignored our requests. We eventually left, following another group out. I raised my concerns with the manager, noting the empty dance floor due to the poor music. The next day, I emailed asking for a refund, only to be told we had only paid for the buffet since the venue and DJs were complimentary, which was not mentioned in the advertisement. Many others were also dissatisfied. If you're considering spending an important night here, be sure to clarify what you're actually getting, as it feels misleading.

Difficult to Reach

Contacting the platform has proven to be impossible. I booked tickets for four to a major attraction, and although I was assured that the tickets would be sent or available via messaging, I am still waiting. Why can't I just download a PDF to my phone? If I could obtain a refund, I would cancel my booking without hesitation. I've already booked other trips with different providers due to my concerns about the lack of contact information.

Terrible Experience

Dealing with this company was an absolute nightmare. They came to install internal walls and ended up damaging my window frame and walls. I requested repairs, and they promised to return the next day but left with their materials instead. Now, I can't reach anyone for assistance; they seem to contact you, but you can't get in touch with them. Avoid this company at all costs!

I want to express my gratitude to the staff for their exceptional care during our visit to the cafe on December 8. We were a group of seven, including one lady in a wheelchair. Your kindness and attentiveness made our experience special, and the food was delightful—typical diner fare. The atmosphere was vibrant and enjoyable! Thank you both for making our visit memorable. We are eagerly anticipating our next visit in the Spring.
