Great service since taking out contract 2 years ago, if we lose connection in our area, always get a text from Trooli about the issue, with regular updates until fixed. All staff i have dealt with have given fantastic customer service, Just renewed for 2 more years as can not falut them.
Refreshing to find a telecoms supplier that treats you intelligently and efficiently. Excellent pre-installation procedures and the installers who turned up on the day were genuinely helpful and accommodating of our preferences. Based on experiences so far, I'd thoroughly recommend if you're lucky enough to have Trooli fibre as an option in your area.
I had high hopes about receiving Trooli fibre broadband, however since installation we have had nothing but problems. The connection continually drops on multiple devices, and we are only getting a maximum of 150mb/s of the 500mb/s we are contractually paying for, even on a hard wired connection.
Our neighbours who's connection runs from the same pole have no issues, so there is clearly an issue with our installation. The day after installation when I first reported issues, they were able to access the router and say what service I was receiving. Now they are unable to do this.
However, Trooli don't seem to be able to give me any answers to why this is, or have any interest in fixing it. They refuse to send an engineer round despite the installation clearly not working correctly, and have had me undertake complex speed tests with screenshot showing my computer’s CPU usage, it would appear I now need to be an IT engineer and have my own in house IT team to try to establish what the problem is. The speed test figures I verbally give or send in screenshots are clearly not believed, but if Trooli won’t send an engineer to look at the issues, I am not sure what else I can do, apart from cut my losses and ask them ton uninstall within the 14 day cooling off period.
I am also supposed to be an IT expert and manually set all my devices to either choose 2.4ghz or 5ghz connections based on their preference. Any computer older than a few years now needs to be replaced according to Trooli, since they no longer work with this newer wifi. Every excuse under the sun, except for the simple fact that Trooli are unable to provide is with a stable and consistent broadband connection. Hours and hours on the phone repeatedly calling them, being hung up on, and getting absolutely nowhere. I don’t want to be tied in to a 2 year contract if the first week is anything to go by.
Of course, if I wanted to upgrade tomorrow to 2gb service, they would take my money and do this instantly. Yet delivering the lower level of service seems beyond them. Absolutely abysmal customer service.
The engineer was exceptional! He arrived promptly, was very courteous, and showed great respect for the property by offering to take off his shoes if needed. He worked efficiently, kept the area tidy, and completed the installation of new hardware in a challenging location within just 30 minutes. The installation delivered nearly 1GB speeds both up and down, and I couldn't be happier with the results - thank you!
Initially, I was quite hesitant about joining since I had never encountered this service before, but the process turned out to be smooth and enjoyable. It was quick to get everything set up, and the coverage has been excellent so far. The technician who handled the installation was incredibly friendly; he even took care of my delivery when I had to step out briefly.
The representative was outstanding in customer retention and convinced me to extend my contract for another two years. Over the past two years, I experienced a few brief outages each month, but since summer, the service has become increasingly reliable. I'm looking forward to a new two-year agreement at a higher speed, which is a great deal compared to other options available.
When my router failed, the support team promptly sent a replacement along with technicians for installation. The help desk was very friendly while collecting my details, and I encountered no problems when upgrading my plan.
The fitter was outstanding, but he couldn't finish the installation because the router hadn't been provided. As a result, there's currently no internet connection, so I can't speak to the service's quality.
We have been using the service for fibre broadband for nearly two years, and as our contract was nearing renewal, I explored the market for broadband speeds and pricing. Trooli offered the best value in both aspects, and we were pleased to extend our contract for another two years.
After being with the company for four years, we upgraded and lost all WiFi. After weeks of attempts to resolve this, we had to revert to our old system, which now also has no WiFi! The support team couldn't fix the issue, so we are now in the process of cancelling and switching providers.
