Bowlift shows no regard for customer rights. They quickly took my money for an online order but failed to deliver on time. After several emails, I finally received a product that didn't represent the price I paid. They are unwilling to provide a full refund, offering only a 10% refund instead and pushing for me to order another item. Where is their accountability? I can't even give them one star due to my shopping experience.
Awful experience - I regret not heeding the warnings I found here. It seemed like a good deal, but the product never arrived. I can't get a sensible response, just vague assurances that they are 'dealing with it.' This has taken up so much of my time and effort, and there's still no resolution. Do not use this service.
Stay away from this company. If I could give zero stars, I would. I placed an order and soon realized the listing was misleading. I contacted them within three hours to cancel and get a refund, but they refused, claiming the item hadn't been dispatched. They are violating consumer rights, and I have reported them to the authorities. I informed them I would refuse delivery, but I suspect they will leave it on my doorstep, forcing me to return it at my own cost. Despite my request for a return address, they have not responded, nor is there one listed on their site.
The five-star reviews here are fake. This is a scam company operating out of another country, not the UK. I ordered Christmas lights for over £40, and they took forever to arrive. When they did, they were just a basic string of lights without a UK plug, so I can't even test them. I contacted the company immediately, only to be told they sent the correct item and that I would have to pay to return it to Canada, which costs more than the item itself. Avoid this company at all costs.
Bowlift is a sham and a scam. NEVER purchase from this website, as the products are of poor quality. If you attempt to return an item, you will NOT receive a proper refund. They keep changing their return addresses and will claim you sent it to the wrong location, using that as an excuse to only offer partial refunds or vouchers for more low-quality goods. After numerous frustrating emails, I contacted my payment service, who quickly helped me. AWFUL, AWFUL - steer clear of them.
One star is a bonus.Ordered an item and paid for it and got receipt e mail timed 1502hrs.I then saw the item was not compatible for my needs so replied to them at 1507hrs.Their response is it was 7 minutes since the order went through and only allow 5 minutes to cancel.Absolute joke of a Company.Avoid
