Returning from holiday to find a power cut, I reported it the next morning. Within an hour, a representative arrived, checked everything, and arranged for a generator to be connected. Over the next few days, they diligently repaired a broken cable and restored our power. Each team member informed us of their purpose, demonstrating hard work and diligence.

Things are getting worse

I'm quite frustrated with the frequent power outages we're experiencing that aren't weather-related, which I could understand. After living here for 86 years, I've never seen so many outages in the last year. We also have numerous brief cuts that require us to reset our appliances. It seems to worsen each month. Management's performance is lacking

I specifically highlight the management team when I say that this service is deeply disappointing. My area has faced over seventy power cuts since 2020, with alarming frequency in recent months. These outages are damaging appliances, and I’ve called many times for updates. Instead of addressing the issues, I was offered to join a forum for £100. If they cared, they wouldn't need this forum. Communication has been non-existent, leaving us in the dark due to their failures. I'm currently experiencing yet another outage.

I specifically refer to the management when I say this service is a disgrace. The area has faced over seventy power outages since 2020, with increasing frequency recently. I've called numerous times as these outages are damaging our appliances. The surges have ruined our smart meter and caused issues with our freezer and soundbar. Despite seeking updates, I've been offered to join a forum for £100 instead of addressing the problems. If they cared, they wouldn't need a forum to improve. Communication has been lacking, and we often find ourselves in the dark due to their incompetence.

We are facing constant power outages, and all we hear from the team is empty apologies and promises of action, but nothing actually changes. After eight outages in seven months, you'd expect more than just a fuse replacement!

Living in the past

In this day and age, we are experiencing a power cut with an estimated reconnection time of two hours in this cold weather. It's frustrating to think that while we suffer, the management will likely enjoy their bonuses. It's 2026, not 1970.
