Having had a injury claim ongoing for the last 4 1/2 years I have just had confirmation of a date to determine who is responsible for my severe injuries.There is a big massive problem though, unionline and trade union legal LLP have made several glowing procedural errors in the court communication where the claim is likely to be struck out (their words) so I may need to get another solicitor to claim professional negligence and hopefully help me in the future.thanks Unionline/Trade union legal LLP for making my life hell and my mental health so poor I've been thinking of ending my life.
Really poor service. I am a union member and although I sent sufficient evidence of disgusting treatment from an employer, they won't help me as they said at best it's low value, so my treatment was low value? I am low value? My experiences were low value? This is my second bad experience with Unionline who also failed to assist me with poor the substandard medical care my father received prior to his unexpected death. Such a disappointing service, I think GMB should audit if they are worthy of functioning. I'm sure that if I was of a different ethnicity, they would be all over my case, but I'm not and as such they are not interested. Right now, they disgust me.
One star is one too many !!!Wish I had read these reviews while I was going through years of an injury claim battle. At best incompetent, but for me they were complicit in railroading my injury claim, they did everything in their power to stop me going to court, which was the main objective for my case. I had reported ( all documented) vehicle and machinery failings on full fleet of vehicles being unfit in their current state, after three years of this and many many issues! I sustained a back injury because of same reason. Unionline after 3 years of running me around only agreed to allowing me to take it to court because I asked for all my file and documentation, only to be offered a paltry settlement and when I refused and told them I want to go to court was told categorically if the judge offers less that gmb would not pick up the tab and it could cost me my home. I had stuck to my guns refusing to be ignored making complaints about the way my case was being handled. Now I have been emailing a telephoning since then for my file so I can make a formal complaint and surprise surprise no reply Avoid at all cost
DO NOT USE THESE MORONSThey are a bunch of teenagers in a call centre who have no knowledge of driving, the Highway Code or the law.They randomly = 2 monthly intervals call from No Caller ID numbers, do not reply to emails this includes their COMPLAINTS department who just send an acknowledgement then nothing.18 months I’ve wasted on a very simple RTC been told on 3 different occasions they are taking it to court then last call , third person involved says it’s only my word against theirs WOW , Ombudsman next hopefully they will reply to my email
Called for advice on a civil matter. The person was clearly reading from a website. They started to tell me to contact ICO but I told them I had already read their website and they have no power to enforce. Then told me read the complaint procedure on the website of the company I was complaining about. Duh! Would never have thought of that. I asked wasn't I supposed to speak to a solicitor but they said only in criminal cases. I have no problem with that if it is made clear on their and the associated Union's website but I do find it annoying when misleading claims of legal help are made and my time is wasted. I honestly knew more than this person did. Be warned.
I have been waiting 3 1/2 years for an at work RTC when crashed into by another van when stationary, the other side is bickering who will pay out but my solicitor seems to not be too bothered.I am unable to work as a result of the collision but find to process to slow and they seemingly don't care or rush into anything.I have so far had 5 different people dealing with this and cannot go anywhere else due to possibly waiting another 3 years and also so far seen 6 different experts.Update. Another person has been assigned to deal with my claim due to expansion, another years waits is on the cards this is just getting silly.
Awful. Would rather have paid the fee for a proper solicitor than use these. Staff not qualified, they’re practicing paralegals and so don’t hold the correct knowledge. Only advice I can say is use a reputable form of solicitors and not your trade union ones as they’re a waste and will miss important evidence. I’ve moved my case and learnt the hard way.
Useless. I rang because they said the would take on cases for family. A feral cat owned by a neighbour attacked my mother causing major damage. Unionline just laughed and were rude... 4 months later another attack by cat has put her in hospital in a very dangerous situation.
