I paid for a Unison membership expecting support when issues came up. Unfortunately, when I needed help, my messages were ignored and I didn’t receive any meaningful response. For a paid service, this level of customer support was disappointing. I hope Unison improves how they handle member concerns in the future
unison are totaly useless for weeks never met rep kept making excuses ,, for 3 weeks getting nowere with grievence ,, in the end i left the job ater 18 years i have never been happier , and as for the stupid unison rep who told my lad if your not happy look for another job , i suggest you follow your own advice

Northamptonshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust mobbed me out of a job. I asked my union for help but they only pretended to be, they only talk the talk. Incapable of walking the walk. When my work mates and peers in other unions showed me photos of the human resources staff (Joanne Robarts and Anita Lo Presti) being mates with my unison branch reps (Leanne Weatherley and Nicola Mitchell of Northamptonshire Health Workers), the writing was on the wall. I'm happy to share this evidence... just warning folks to save their money and don't bother with this union. It's a club, and you're not in it.

Steward did not want to know about my disabilities. Attended meeting and went against me in the meeting and told lies.Contacted main office for support, lied to cover their arses. Put in a complaint, just lied repeatedly to avoid any responsibility. Their complaints process is an absolute joke.Absolute scum bag company of liars that treats disabled people like dirt and inflicts harm on them. Avoid like the plague.I would not describe them as a Union, more like a parasite.Every time I had contacted them in the past, they were generally clueless on anything.
