SCAM! This is a scam websites, you will pay just to have the application mailed to you. You can fill this application out online for free.Even if you cancel before they process your order, they will refuse to refund your money. They don't honor their cancellation policy and they don't offer a real service.Stay away from this company
This site is unbelievably misleading and takes advantage of people trying to get their passports. I thought I was on the official U.S. government passport website — but it turns out United Passport is just a shady third-party service charging you for absolutely nothing helpful. They mail you the same packet you filled out online from the website, then you still have to fill it out again and pay the real $160 government fee on top of what they already took. Total waste of money.Their site hides the fact that they are not official, and it feels like it’s designed to trick people. Very frustrating when you search Passport Renewal it’s the first website that populates. It’s dishonest, useless, and predatory. Do yourself a favor — avoid this website completely and only use the official U.S. passport site at travel.state.gov
Very fast and excellent service from start to finish. The process was smooth, communication was clear, and everything was handled quickly and professionally. I truly appreciated how efficient and responsive the team was throughout the entire experience. I would absolutely recommend this service to anyone in need of reliable and speedy assistance 10/10!
I was attempting to apply for a U.S. passport on what I believed was the official government website and was misled into completing the process on UnitedPassport.com instead. The site closely mimics the look and feel of the official passport application, and it was not clearly disclosed that this is a private, third-party service charging a fee for something that can be done directly through the U.S. government. As a result, I unintentionally paid a fee and submitted sensitive personal information under false assumptions. Once I realized the mistake, I became immediately concerned about the safety of my data and requested cancellation and a refund. This experience felt deceptive and intentionally confusing for consumers. I would strongly caution others to avoid this site and use the official government website directly.I never got anything for my fee and they refused to issue a refund. 100% scam!
Thought I was ordering a real passport from the government. Didn’t realize it wasn’t till paper forms came in the mail.I paid $188 each for both my kids.Just for then to print out forms and instructions that you can get for free on the actual government website. And then they want you to pay $100 for each passport also.I’m so sad and upset. What a scam company and shame on them make money by scamming people. I’m seriously so upset and so sad
On December 17, trying to print a renewal application for my daughter's US Passport. My search got me to unitedpassport's website. Without realizing that this was not the government website, I completed my daughters' application and paid what appeared to be in line with the government fees for the passport. Within minutes, I've received an email stating that the application will be mailed to me. Immediately, I've realzied that this was a scam. I've done a chat requesting cancellation. I was told that they will take care of it. Later in the day, I received the message stating that it's too late. All I have received since then was the application printed on a cheap quality paper via USPS and that we still need to pay $242.05 in government fees. They charged $242.95 for this service. Pure SCAM.
This website is a total scam. Posting this so others can learn from my mistake. :(I don’t normally get fooled by imposter sites, but it was late at night, I was in a rush, and this was the first result when I Googled “passport renewal.” The site gave me no reason to suspect it was anything other than the official U.S. State Department website.I realized the mistake within less than an hour and immediately contacted them to cancel. During the initial chat, I was told, “We’re happy to process a cancellation for you if that’s your decision.” I replied by email, “Yes, please proceed with the cancellation.” Despite that, customer service moved forward with submitting my information anyway and refused to issue a refund. This process requires providing extremely sensitive personal information to a private company I did not knowingly intend to use, which is really upsetting.I’m disputing the charge through my credit card, but I wanted to leave this here as a warning. Please double-check that you’re using the official site (travel.state.gov). I knew better, and it still happened to me.
AVOID THIS WEBSITE. I google searched for passport renewal, and this site came up first (obviously paid for ad). I did not realize it WASN'T the government website, because it does resemble it enough that I did not notice the difference (I was on government website few weeks prior). I realized my error 60 seconds after I hit the submit payment button. The business was after hours, and I was able to submit online "Place Order on Hold." Since it was the Thanksgiving holiday and I had other things on my mind, I did not monitor my e-mail. They removed the hold and processed the order WITHOUT ANY EXPLICITY ACTION FROM ME. This is my complaint--they took action, with significant charges, without specific confirmation on my end. They charge a premium for their service, which you only need if a.) complicated situation or b.) quick travel. I had neither. I reached out to customer service and they tell me nothing can be done, and I have wasted $300 for a service I do not need.
