This was my first purchase with Superdry and I was extremely pleased with the items including a hoodie, terry sweatshirt and a couple of tees. They arrived promptly, washed beautifully, kept their color, and most importantly, were very comfortable. I plan to make future purchases!

Don’t spend your money here

Don’t spend your money here. Be warned!!! Great look. Very very poor quality and absolutely no appreciation for your business. The quality has been horrible for many years now. Stitches come apart with one (gentle) wash. Logos and lettering peels and chips after one (gentle wash). The zippers are in a league of their own. They are a complete joke. I have 4 expensive jackets I bought from Superdry. None of them have a functioning zipper. You zip it up and within minutes, it starts to unzip .... from the bottom up. So you have no idea that you’re walking around like a clown !!! And superdry does not care to fix this problem. They know about it. And I mean ... come on!! How hard is it to make a working zipper? They just don’t care. But wait. There’s more. Then there is the sizing problems. They have absolutely no quality and control process (or the zipper issue would have never made it into production lol). Here is the fun part. Buy 10 shirts or coats all the same exact size. And none of them will be the same. It’s a joke. It’s all over the place (and employees have confirmed this as well. It’s a frustrating problem they deal with daily in store). But there is more ..... they blame those whack-a-doodle sizing problem on YOU, the consumer. It’s your job to order the right size. No backsies !!! It’s literally like a Christmas grab bag every time you order online at superdry. Let’s play a game of “will it fit?” But wait. There’s more. Even with all of their manufacturing problems, I still like the looks. And I overlook those flaws and have continued to buy their clothing for many years. I have spent a lot of money in their outlet stores as well. A lot. Recently I ordered another coat from superdry online. All the other coats I have from superdry are XL. I am L in USA sizes. And according to the size chart on the superdry site, they agree “we think you will be most comfortable in XL”. Great. Of course, following past buys and online chart .... I order my new coat. Size XLIt arrives. It’s HUGE. I can’t wear it. It dwarfs my other XL superdry coats. I can fit two of me in it. It looks ridiculous. I want to simply sends it back in exchange for the Large. I really like the coat. But the sizing is sooooo off. Guess what? Superdry won’t exchange it. They told me that sale was marked as final! Mind you the item was listed on their site “free shipping and returns” in BOLD text. The final sale notice was hidden away in the “care” section of the item description. Hmmmm. So, of course I missed that when I ordered. Just as you hoped I would miss it. That’s why you posted free returns in bold print and hid the final sale information over in the care area. But most importantly.... you know you have sizing issues. I sent you screenshots of my past orders proving I’m a loyal customer and that I have 3 other coats from you. XL. They all fit fine. And they still put the burden on me. I guess, somehow I.... the consumer should have known that this coat was an exception to your typical sizing algorithm. Somehow I should have magically known that. You lost a good customer. You may see me as a complainer. Let me remind you: I spent a lot of money with you over the years and 95% had production and quality problems. And this is the first you are hearing from me. I took all that like a champ. And you still see me as the complainer. I am the type of customer you want to keep. I had so many issues and yet I rarely speak out. I’m a dream !!!I’m not a complainer. I’m a consumer. I work hard for my money. I expect fairness. And you did not provide that. I hope that Superdry becomes ..... SuperDriedUp. I hope more consumers start valuing their money more and forcing you to produce better quality or hang it up. Good luck. My love affair with you Is over. And all over a cost to you of about $15 (this is low quality crap made in China. My $150 jacket cost you about $15. On a good day. And you lost me. Over that.
