I have been a square client for many years, and I love the quality of the product and the customer service. They resolve any issues (and there haven't been many over the years) with reps that are patient and help you solve your problems. I love the loans that can be paid back by taking a percentage out of your sales, and the same thing with the savings account. Love that new feature. Now I see we can take a percentage our of our sales and buy bitcoin. I am signing up to do that soon,
Customer support is useless. Scenario:- Tried to login. - message returns "password expired... reset..."- follow instructions to reset- last instruction says to click on the link of the email that was sent- no email- try again- same thing- tried "forgot password"- same process, no emailIt was late so support offices were closed. So, I sent a message through the website. This afternoon I finally receive an email (generic) requesting I call them. I call the number, and I get redirected to Chat support. I retype everything and NINETEEN minutes later the rep gives me the solution he found which was exactly the same things I already did.I request a phone call.He tells me "chat support is more than prepared and trained and has the same preparation as a phone agent." Then he urges me to try the solution he sent me. The solution literally took me through the same process I did multiple times the night before. I said "I'm trying to work, and at least if I'm on the phone I can still work while I'm on the phone." He gives me the same phone number that redirected me to chat support.I told him, that's what I called to get here. "Please have someone call me. I'm not asking as a favor. I'm making a legitimate request." He said that the company is not setup for them to call customers. Then he gave me the number again.
I had a great experience with the designer, Molly in East Hanover. During delivery, the oven was on back order and the customer service rep, Danielle was absolutely OUTSTANDING at figuring out a quick and extremely helpful solution. We are still installing but so far everything looks great.
