Review Time
Most of the 5* reviews for square business is seeder or their staff ( they get paid anyway) . Please look at review 1* to see what is trust review from real people .I've been doing business with them for a years until Square deactivated my account and frozen more than $5k in my balance . They did not give me any explaination from deactivated email notification ( of course you have to hire the lawyer to understand their term of use ) . And yes like any other customer i received deactivation notice after 90 days it would be available for me to transfer into my bank . Do your research with all the 1* review here before you do business with square , they going to taken your money like me . I have all reference for my case if someone need to prove my case is real . ( don't try to call square support because its just waste your time and they not going to give you answer , if you tried Square Email Support just like the joke because they never read your email , they don't even have real name , real manager who take responsible )
i feel the 3% for cards should only be for CREDIT CARDS not DEBIT CARDS us small businesses can afford that much or more of every transaction most people use debit cards and rarely carry cash anymore cut us some slack i get credit cards but debit works like cash FIX THIS!!! THEN ILL CHANGE IT TO 5 STARS
Terrible support. For 5 years our company has been using Squareup for our credit card processing with no problems of any kind. Recently they requested lab tests from our company proving that our products do not have THC in them. We uploaded and sent these test results that did just that, showed 0% THC. The next day Squareup deactivated our account. We called the support phone number 5 times and never got any clarification or help to understand what what had happened or what to do to fix it. We could not speak to a supervisor nor speak to the department the issues the deactivation.Update to Square Reply- Regarding the reply from Square, the link provided by Square in their reply to my original post is not useful and is a link to the general contact page for the company. I have been round and round for 3 days trying to get answers, comply and resolve this after being a client for many years with a great record with Square. If Square does read this update then they should be willing to do the most appropriate and helpful things which is to call me directly. They have our company number at 310.936.2447Jeff
Square is horrible. DO NOT USE THEM EVER!! they have zero ability to respond to urgent matters and refuse to escalate and deal with problems that can cause a business to be significantly harmed. Been asking to speak to legal department. They REFUSE to do anything to help just standard bs processes so they can hold your funds longer. We STOPPED using them to process immediately before they harmed us too badly but still have over 7500.00 of our money. We will take legal action and file reports with attorney general. This is criminal.
