First contact with them was poor

First contact with them was poor. Tried to reach sales after giving all my info to the first level. Don't think either person was from the states. English did not seem to be their primary language. Was transferred to the wrong dept. The wrong department just kept me on hold. Hung up and called back. Went through whole thing again. I was transferred to credit card sales under 250k when I need to go to 250k or above for custom rate. Was transferred to another person who took all my info again then stated he would send me over to sales. an hour of my time going in circles. The sales person I spoke to was given all the wrong information about my business. This service level is the same as quick books. Quickbooks has horrendous customer service if you can even call it that. I don't think any of the customer service speak English as their primary language making it very difficult to communicate. Quickbooks also does a very poor job representing you in credit card disputes. Was looking for an efficient solution.

Clover Canada vs Square

I used square for 1 year with my small business. Then they upped their debit card fees from 10 cents per tap to 7 cents plus 0.75% per tap.. I’m sorry but I can understand visa fees because visa companies bill square. I could have accepted a 50 cent tap charge from 10 cents. But to take a percentage of the total for debit.. that is greedy and hurtful to small businesses who are working their buts off to make a living and meanwhile square sits back and just takes a huge amount. And debit costs them nothing. This new fee increased my square fees by over $300 a month, which over 30 years of business would cost me over $150,000 with visa fees included too. so.. I changed to clover. I HIGHLY recommend Clover Canada. Amazing in every way! Now it costs me 3 cents per debit tap for clover and 1.7% for visa taps as opposed to 2.75%-3% for visa taps from Square. Clover costs me $15 a month in fees now. I will save $3000 a year just from changing from square to clover and honesty.. I mean.. that’s a LOT of money and I am a small busienss. That’s my vacation money right there. And that is an increase for debit alone! The clover hub and app is even better than square. Simple, big buttons, my clients love it. I love it! Clover all the way!

not good for a small new company

I closed an old account and opened a new one while starting a new business. They have frozen my account, are holding all money from new transactions and have asked for unusually personal information like full access to my bank account. The questions they are asking are personal. They are not in a hurry to resolve it. I had terrible customer service with what sounded like a young girl who could not pronounce English. bad reception. etc.

be carful and read reviews !

this company can do whatever the want access your checking account and block your founds for no reason ! You will have hard time to reach customer service since all of the agents are abroad and don't care to much, if you ask I would like to speak to a supervisor you will be declined ! Lucky it was $300 only the try to keep for 3 months ! But read review some people get money taken from their bank or a hold of even more :((( Maybe ok for processing $5 sales but would be carful with doing more business with them. The are now tons of other options out there for also better rates. The also have hidden fees like for writing a check 2%
