Review Time
This feedback concerns the service provider. In my previous review, I used a term that the platform flagged as inappropriate. I’ll avoid that here, but I’m quite frustrated. I rented a vehicle today from the service provider. When I attempted to collect the car, the representative indicated they couldn’t accept my Visa card, which is issued by a bank. They had previously accepted this card for the rental but refused it for the deposit. What’s going on? Don’t you earn revenue when I use my card? Would you prefer I switch to another card type? Please inform me of your preferred option, and I’ll make the change. I'm left wondering if the rental locations are franchises, but the one at the airport certainly requires scrutiny.
This feedback primarily concerns the service provider. I inadvertently used a term that was flagged by the review platform in my previous comments. To express my frustration, the service and the provider did not meet my expectations. When I arrived to pick up my rental vehicle, the representative stated they couldn’t accept my Visa card, which is issued by a bank. They had accepted it for the rental but refused it for the deposit. What’s the problem? Don’t you gain from card usage? Would you prefer another card type? Let me know, and I’ll change it. I’m uncertain if rental locations are franchises, but the airport location certainly needs attention.
The actions of Visa resemble a totalitarian regime, exercising undue influence and abusing its power. They pressured a platform to remove various games based on their distorted views of their responsibilities. Visa seems to act as a dictator, determining which products I can purchase by coercing vendors into compliance.
It seems that customers will end up with nothing while the company prioritizes its interests. They avoid risks to their investments but jeopardize customer funds to appease a particular group. While claiming to follow regulations, they engage in practices that appear monopolistic.
The Visa credit card system in my country seems to engage in fraudulent practices, charging for unauthorized online purchases. I received a notification about a purchase I did not make and was asked to confirm it. I called to cancel the transaction and deactivate my card, but the charge still appeared on my statement. I submitted a complaint to the regulatory agency in the United States regarding these deceptive financial practices, and eventually, the company removed the charge.
The offices associated with Visa appear to be involved in fraudulent activities, as they show online purchases that I never made. After this incident, they expect payment from me. I never activated online shopping, and in my country, purchases over a certain amount are restricted. Yet, the company processes these transactions and charges me as if I made them. This method of theft is astonishing. I can only imagine how many customers face similar issues.
The company and its large competitors appear to be corrupt, enabling fraudulent entities to exploit paying clients. When I reached out for assistance, the representatives seemed unable to grasp the deceptive tactics employed by these billers. Their responses were generic and unhelpful, failing to address the situation.
