I used to think online teaching would be complicated, but this platform transformed my perspective entirely.Right after I launched my first course, I saw a spike in enrollments and revenue that I never expected. The interface is neat, and the certificate builder helps me reward students effectively. Best part is, I can handle everything in one place. I’m amazed at how quickly I adapted!
SCAM SCAM SCAM!!!!!They promised lifetime access and did not honour it and would not provide a refund. The new “lifetime plan” they shifted is on is hardly functions which is very evident that was the intent so we are forced to pay for an upgrade. They are also now taking 10% commission. This is not what was promised and not what I paid for. I Customer service is horrible. DO NOT USE. BEYOND UNETHICAL COMPANY.
I am extremely disappointed with my experience using Uteach. Initially, the platform offered a Lifetime Deal (LTD) trough AppSumo with attractive features like no transaction fees, unlimited students, and unlimited courses. However, they later canceled this LTD and drastically reduced the benefits. The new limitations include only 3 courses, a cap of 1,000 students, and a 10% commission on transactions. This shift feels unfair and misleading to early adopters who trusted the original promises and the creators. I would not under any circumstance recommend this platform based on these practices. If you can't keep your promises, don't make them and stop wasting everybody's time and money.
Purchased a lifetime plan to help support them in the early stages. build a business around the courses i offered for them to betray the loyalty of early adopters, they say they have not ditched the lifetime plan but restricted it, yes significantly restricted tht i can no longer run a business with the new restrictions and i have lost access to 40 of my courses, they offer a new subscription ofr a small discount but that includes them taking 10% for each course i sell. totally lost confidence and trust in the company.
As with many others on here, I signed up for the lifetime offer through App Sumo.I had big plans for the platform to increase access to our suicide prevention training, offering free courses with the aim of saving lives.UTeach then released a £120 Communities bolt-on which I bought directly from them, figuring that post-training, learners could form networks for what are known as Suicide Gatekeepers, further (hopefully) combatting this tragic loss of life.UTeach then withdrew the unlimited nature of the lifetime subscription, before backtracking and making it a very poor cousin of what I was actually sold.Since then, I've contacted them requesting a refund on the Communities module - their reply was to ask for it from App Sumo.I replied immediately, pointing out that I'd bought it from them directly, and I've been ignored ever since. I think that 3 weeks is plenty long enough to respond but, in the absence of a reply, I'm left feeling that they're now just battening down the hatches and hoping that us troublesome customers will just give up and walk away.....
There are MANY options available for learning management platforms - and I would advise you to steer clear of Uteach. This company does not value maintaining trust and relationships with their customers. The terms and conditions under which I signed up (and purchased additional tools) got completely changed. Go with a reputable company that has consistently demonstrated over time that they value the people who invest in them. This is NOT a people-centered company.
NGL, this platform is such a steal for course creators. I was up and running within in minutes! From quizzes to live lessons, it's got everything. one thing I learned is their support team really listens to users. Honestly, waiting for new updates is exacting!
