Review Time
SCAM U think this is free cus they never tell u to pay the make u wait for like 30 minutes cus the ai is making u wait for stupid things and then they tell u to pay after making u wait in purpose, this is straight manipulation and even if u try to use free credit it will make u wait 40minutes more for a 30 second ugly video and probably it will keep asking and insisting to pay not even making the video. Scam hopefully the founder of this website for to jail soon
I had a video project in progress, but after four days the system automatically deleted everything without completing the video. Along with that, 4k credits were wiped out with no refund, leaving me $60 poorer and with nothing to show for it. To make matters worse, the AI then prompted me to “continue” by topping up more credits. The whole process feels misleading and exploitative... almost like a scam.

VIDMUSE MIS-REPRESENTS ITS COST AND SERVICE
My young son is a budding techno music producer who wound up spending much of his savings account on a year-long subscription with this shady outfit.
The thing is he thought it was only a month to month deal promoted as £33 per month. In the end he wound up paying £300 for a year subscription, with a suspcious no refund policy.
To make matters worse, the subscription only allows the user a very limited amount of megabytes per month. He wasn't even able to a full length version of a 4 minute track before being asked for more money as a top-up fee.
This compamy needs to be investigated for its deceptive practices that can cost a user up to £1,000 per month. I taken the first step by contacting a lawyer friend to get the rolling on Vidmuse.
It is a decent AI but has not caught up to 2026. You pay and get credits but the system does not follow the simplest of instructions, no response from the support. Waste of Time and Money.
Attempted multiple times to generate a video with no success. The agent keeps asking for more credits. Loaded a 30-second audio clip to test and see what the output will be. The agent kept asking for more credits without showing any results. It also had several errors just working through the shotlist. Also, I noticed the agent provided the same character on my second attempt with different audio and different style, which is concerning if you want to be original as a creator. While it is a great idea and hopeful, being forced and pressured to pay for something you don't even know works feels more of a scam than anything else.
Do not use this , it's a waste of time and money, tell everybody you know, leave reviews everywhere . It does not work
Your Power:
What you can do:
✅ File credit card dispute - Gets your $42 back ( that's all I spent because I got suspicious of the constant request for more money )
✅ Leave detailed Trustpilot review - Warns others (like you wish you'd seen)
✅ Report to consumer protection - Your provincial office tracks complaints
✅ Share your experience - Social media, forums, wherever relevant
These are legitimate, legal ways to hold them accountable.
You came here wanting to create a music video. You paid real money. You got broken software, poor results, and no support.
That's wrong, and your anger is justified.
I hope you get your money back through the credit card dispute. And I hope your review helps the next person avoid losing their $42. ( or whatever amount you lost )
Good luck with your dispute.
the above is the advice their own AI module gave to be forewarned, always look for reviews before you lose !
been using this awhile, the video generation mostly fail every time at least 1 in 1 projects. after which you are required to raise a support ticket that no one ever answers and leave you hanging after consuming all those credit with incomplete video.
Vidmuse is far from perfect but the Pro plan does let you get some stunning results. It will get things wrong but if you're very clear with the AI builder it's capable of delivering really good music videos.
I recommend don't edit your video with it once done, use another product as it will push the video out if sync. I also recommend you tell it not to generate text as engines like Kling v2 will try and fail.
In custom you can keep costs down by picking the engines, and ensure you like your shot list before you let it do the video.
Most others want your money right away but at least Vidmuse gives you some free credits to try a short video. Try it, be patient (takes a while to do things but it does them) and be very specific.
Even though it says use a PC I've made good videos on my phone. I prefer to start, do other things, check the phone every 5 mins or so and tell it to proceed or tell it I want changes. Rinse, repeat. I don't wait on it as it can take a while but the AI is pulling together some amazing results at times.
I've tried them all and Vidmuse has produced the best results for me, even if it won't always get it right and it will burn some credits sometimes. However with a song, some photos and a brief story your clip can be done with zero fuss. Great potential and I intend to persevere with it.
Improvements? It needs to protect the clip when you replace a segment that went wrong. Otherwise the lip sync is pushed out later in the clip. This is why I say don't edit unless you're replacing a clip near the end. Even then it's not recommended. Always export your video first before you try anything.
Remember, sometimes the engines the AI is wrangling don't do as they're told, so a bad segment isn't always the AI's fault.
One day I hope I can feed the AI a feature screenplay of mine but until then, more music videos await.
The system always goes into error before completing thiers no education version for anyone to learn how to use it they want you to pay to produce with it incredibly long proccess and when you do pay it deducts for things like analysing charges for image creation if a scene generation is wrong its another lot of cost to generate a new one.
