Product is good, as long as you don't run into any issues. Support is however horrible and virtually non-existent.

3CX alternative.

I have been a 3CX partner for 16 years - mostly small businesses with 4 lines. 3CX have now said they no longer support small businesses and removed my partner status then doubled the cost for small instances. So looking for an alternative. I am following the training course and sofar I have everything working. Multiple extensions, trunks, ring groups, IVR, voicemail etc. It is a steep learning curve but I am getting there.

Very poor support

Couldn't get the product to work despite formal training, very little willingness to offer support, in the end they went completely silent on us. This is one vendor to avoid.

Software does what it says on the Tin

Software does what it says on the Tin. Rock solid PBX and pricing that works well. Imagine FreePBX with an easier interface, but where it's not costly to start adding commercial modules.

Great for SMB but not "Carrier" or Multitenant

VitalPBX software is pretty good until you get an issue. If you are using this as multitenant and making a business out of it. I would seriously consider looking elsewhere. Case scenario: Few issues on some tenants and some global issues. Affecting business so reach out to VitalPBX for assistance. You might as well be talking to a wall. Some of their new agents repeat the same question although been answered, some one else will come on the ticket and ask the same thing again. takes anything from 1-3 days for a reply. Ask for a call to explain, they ignore or again ask the same baseline questions. I have been using vitalpbx now for around 4 years and up until we had an issue. it was great. I am unable to move the business forward using this software and currently looking for alternative that has support. especially when paying $250 per server and about to start setting up HA so need additional licensing etc.
