Review Time
This company has an effectively non-working app for mobile. The website is extremely clunky and slow. The website for Treasury Direct makes this website look like a dinosaur. The options within the website are very unclear and they seem to make it deliberately confusing for the user. Schwab, Vanguard, Fidelity - these are the places to be. I will be moving out of Voya as soon as humanly possible.
Voya is a scam - they give cheap rates to your company and look legit but if you for any reason need your money they charge exorbitant fees - I would owe them money to close my account even though my investment choices doubled the money I had paid out- their excuse “it’s the plan your employers chose and there’s nothing we can do”
I am extremely frustrated with the service! I've been waiting over two weeks for my hardship check from my retirement account. After being fed one excuse after another, I suspect this company is intentionally holding onto customers' funds and creating unnecessary delays. Reading other reviews confirms my suspicions. It's shocking that they haven't faced legal action yet. I will NEVER engage with this company again.
I've been reaching out to the company for the past week and have had to call them multiple times about various issues. Each time I contact them about my uploaded documents or faxed submissions, I speak with a different representative. Unsurprisingly, each one gives me different information. The first said to include fax details with my application, while another claimed that was unnecessary and that I should just submit the receipt I had uploaded online. It's incredibly frustrating to receive inconsistent answers every time I reach out.
I have been reaching out to the company for over a week and have had to call them more than six times regarding various issues. Each time I call to inquire about my uploaded documents or my faxed submissions, I get a different representative. Naturally, each one provides conflicting information. The first told me to include fax details with my application, while the second said that wasn't necessary. It's incredibly frustrating to receive different answers every time I contact the company.
I am extremely frustrated with the service. I requested my funds on 11/10, and they depleted my account within three days. The money is still missing, and I’ve been informed it will take 12 business days to issue a new check. This is unacceptable. The total wait time exceeds one month.
THIS IS ABSOLUTELY THE MOST DISASTROUS COMPANY EVER!!! I've been waiting for over two weeks for my hardship check from my retirement account. I suspected something was off after hearing one excuse after another, with constant blame on the mail for delays. After reading other reviews, it's clear this company is withholding customer funds and intentionally causing delays. I can't believe they haven't faced legal action yet. A company full of deceivers. I will NEVER deal with them again.
Stuck in a never-ending process every year. It's not about the amount but the difficulty in withdrawing funds. Each year, it takes weeks to finalize. Compared to other companies, this one endlessly repeats requests for information, even with voice recognition. Then I have to speak with a representative to get my withdrawal request processed. It seems straightforward, but it is anything but. I've spent over 140 minutes today, which is typical over the years, not including the wait time for mail. Their system feels outdated and unorganized.
